Early Games Thread

Not for nothing, but I did sneak a look at the Titans schedule before this game. They haven’t beaten anyone of note. Just saying, they aren’t very good.
I also did a quick look and to see that they don't score that many points with or without Tannehill.

This game is going to overtime.

They took the chiefs to the wire with a backup rookie QB who wouldn't even start for a good amount of the top college football teams.

The Titans are not a bad team. They are fully capable of beating anyone. They just got smoked today
I’m confused to what makes them good? They have a good record so they are good but I just don’t know how they win games when Henry is all they have.

The Eagles have benefitted from a VERY soft schedule and escaping some tight contests that could have gone either way.

At the same time they are a very good team, but the record is somewhat misleading.

We will have to wait until the playoffs to see what they are really made of because outside of Dallas they really haven’t been tested by an upper echelon team (outside of Tenn but their soft schedule has lead to a misleading record too IMO).

This is so saddening.

The one time the NFC is somewhat weak all around and our division is the only one lighting it up. We’re cursed.

Giants have plenty of time to go get a FG. Instead, they throwing bombs trying to get a flag

Some was some great play calling from NY. Did Moore call those plays…

Hey, dont the Titans have the number 1 run defense? How is that working out for them??????

They do have a very good run defense, especially against teams that depend on the run.

Unfortunately, Philly can just flip a switch and throw for 5 tds if they want, and just nullify a team's strength.

They are really flexible their power today against a very good team.
Yeah this game is over. Tennessee just doesn't have the offense. Eagles totally shut Henry down.

Nice return defense there Titans.

This just looks like Philly's year, at least in the regular season.

That's what's so tough about eagles. They go up against Derek Henry, and they just completely take him out of the game. Titans have great run defense, but eagles have talent and coaching smarts to just sidestep their strength and throw it up and down the field. They go up a couple scores, and force tennessee to turn into a passing team...thus nullifying their run game AND run defense. ...their only 2 strengths

Teams that can dictate how you play, and succeeded scoring in multiple ways, are tough. You almost need to get lucky with turnovers to beat them, like Wash did.

They will be totally content to throw it all day against Tenn, and then turn around and run it all day against us or GB...and they're equally dangerous doing both.

Bummer.
