Early games thread

I hate to say this, but if the Eagles beat the Rams today, they may go undefeated- the only team I see beating them is Dallas in Dallas.
The Miami Dolphins record is in serious Jeopardy this season no question IF they win today.

What a football program in Philadelphia. The GM, the coach, the talent, the age, the quarterback.

The quarterback has a lot of Derek Jeter in him - all business.

Mix in the owner and the fan base - and they are the preeminent sports franchise.

The eagles are one of the best teams in the league. So yeah I expect them to be in the running for #1 seed.

That said. Undefeated talk at this point is crazy.

They still play: the cowboys in Dallas. The bills. The packers. The lions. The Bucs. The commanders twice the chargers.

They have plenty of tough games on their schedule still.

Bengals being Bungles
Right first a close fumble and then the quarterback does a dumb thing it just chucks it up for grabs they are both playing with backups but that's the one thing you can do give up a free touchdown I mean Brownings like Cooper Rush he giveth and he taketh away...

So why are they allowing the Eagles to line up that deep in the backfield. I thought they were cracking down on that. Eagles get the breaks.

Raiders offense is terrible. Ashton Jeanty has been pretty meh so far in his rookie career.
Yeah but the excuse train for Mr Generational you remember Kyle Pitts was supposed to be generational this is a similar situation they're blaming the offensive line the play calling he's not getting the ball enough but if you're generational you should look generational when you have the ball in your hands regardless of what's in front of you barry Sanders is on the phone...

He may get it corrected but at this point he just looks like a solid back. But nothing special nothing generational yet i'm not saying it can't happen there's a whole bunch of 1st rounders and higher drafted running backs that haven't been like explosive in any way they haven't contributed much yet.

That's why you have to appreciate Williams even if he's not explosive He's came out and proved the Cowboys did not have the 30 second run room in the league and I believe we're going to get better I think Blue will eventually play and I believe Mafah will get on the field and it'll get better,,,.

But it's surprising all these young backs are not like making a mark yet going into Week 3...

I mean Ezekiel Elliott was taken 4th overall he looked great in preseason and then he basically had a top five all time rookie NFL season he's top five all time 1600 yards and a bunch of touchdowns yeah that's what a great bat looks like..

this is a tough one. Bucs had 3rd and 29 and Sauce Gardner got called for PI
Teams are only allowed to hit a certain amount of times a year due to union nonsense.
This is the product we get.

Jimmy Johnson will not be able to coach in his league today without being able to run his team through heavy contact .

Hurts is terrible throwing the ball. The Eagles has all that firepower at WR, TE, one of the best offensive lines in the NFL and the best 2 way running back in the NFL. How can he not pass the ball?

wow they called unnecessary roughness for tackling deebo hard in the open field. The NFL is getting soft. Just gave the Commanders a first down.

It's wild the refs never call false start when the Eagles lineman constantly move before the snap.
What’s wild is NFL fans’ obsession with the play. Every team in the NFL could do the play just as well as Philly if they felt like committing to developing it. Teams don’t.

And I don’t buy the Hurts has strong legs nonsense. If they’re so strong why does he need to be pushed? All NFL quarterbacks are tremendous athletes and could do the play. If a team isn’t willing to use their QB in that manner that’s the team’s business.

Never has such a mediocre quarterback linked to a goofy coach won so many games together in the NFL.

I meant those are tough teams the Eagles still have to face.
Oh my bad yeah you're right they're not going to go undefeated I wasn't following that close.... But the way we played them in the first game if we're healthy and they come into our house I believe we'll beat them, I do, it daks always played well, again He played well against them again and you bring them in to our house, if healthy and I don't know when they're coming up on our schedule next,

I say we split once again, and we beat them so they're not going undefeated...

Davante Adams with a TD. I'm surprised they didn't call offensive pass interference on Adam for pushing off while the ball was in the air.
