Early games thread

Most WR's weigh 200 pounds. No reason to be running Turpin, especially after being questionable with a neck injury.

Lining CD in the backfield is not a way to get him in space.
Still using the Garrett playbook as mandated by the GM?

Dude special teams one of the most violent parts of football, is why they keep trying to fix it ,and make it less violent,

turpin can handle it or he wouldn't be on the field... He's been doing this most of his life as an undersized football player he is not weak i'm sorry you're trying to blame the coach and I'm telling you you're wrong and he didn't have a neck injury a trapezium is not a neck injury it's a muscle injury, that can run from the sides of your neck down between your shoulder blades, it was nothing but a Stinger not a real injury soreness and numbness ,

Get your facts straight if these guys can't handle collisions they shouldn't be playing football it's physical no matter where you catch the football or no matter where you run it from there's a chance you're going to get your **** knocked out of you So again if you're not built for it stay off the field...

So why don't you have your opinion and I'm going to tell you how flat wrong you are and then we can both sit here and stare at our screens like we're right.

Your opinion is wrong. His skill set is making people miss. End of story.

No it's not the dude has been hit hard he's going to get hit hard he's been playing football at a higher level than you and then you forget he was at TCU is in the UFL and now he's here he's not into repro He gets hit he's been hit a lot and he gets back up because he's tough he's not brittle and he's not injury thrown..

Tell me you are wrong now what are we gonna do what you gonna what are you going to do about me telling you you're flat wrong because I know I'm more right because he's not injury prone he's been on the field for almost 95% of the snap since he's been with the Cowboys all the available snaps he's been there you were wrong to begin with he's on the field that means he's OK with this....

Is no difference between taking short passes bubble screens running across the field five yards on crossers then there is what they're doing behind the line of scrimmage because you're going to get hit anyway It's football if you're scared a player is going to get hurt he shouldn't even be on the field that's why he is because he can do this or they wouldn't be using him in this fashion....

Is the same thing that was said about Deuce Vaughn and the dude had 5000 scrimmage yards in college he was a real running back not a gadget player he did things almost nobody else at his school did except for Locket and the dude he's compared to most in Darren Sproles just because he didn't make it in the NFL but that doesn't make him too small to play he can play i've seen him get hit by big giant linebackers over and over for three seasons in college but you people think you know what you're talking about and you don't even Goose Vaughn's not injury prone he can handle it and he is a gadget player where Turpin is not...

Rams missed another easy FG. lol

Those guys could be 5-0. But football requires all three phases eventually. They have the 2 main ones with offense and defense, but special teams has killed them.

Cowboys have offense and special teams, but D is bad.

Is what it is

Drake Maye continues to cook.
Outplayed Allen last week while handing the Bills their first loss (and no, he's nowhere near Allen yet)

Now this week in 1st qtr
5-5, 109, 2 TDs

The kid really looks the part of a franchise QB

London game

Rams already lead Jags 14-0 late in 1st qtr
Stafford cooking w/ 2 TDs.
