In order to get McFadden, Cleveland must finish in the bottom 10, worse if Cowboys do well next year (in which case our pick would be less valuable). Cleveland was very bad last year and very well be again -- it's kind of the Cleveland default setting. But then again ... bad teams get better all the time. If they were able to -- due to a relatively easy schedule, the return of injured players, this infusion of new talent, sheer luck -- get a little better, they would only need to go 7-9 to dash the hopes here.

I'm just sayin'...

You didn't even mention Colt Brennan. He's got a serious shot at being the #1 overall. And I'm betting that Justin King declares.

No way he is a system QB I seriously doubt he would be even a first rounder let alone number one overall.

a) The browns dont' get better all the time
b)they dont' have an easy schedule
c)their injured players (l.Bentley) are not returning
d)infusion of talent yes but young and inexperienced
e)7-9 highly unlikely looking at their schedule

And Alex Smith was a "system" QB.

Just because a player's numbers are inflated by the system they play in doesn't mean they won't be a high pick.

He was regarded as the third QB in this draft if he would have decided to declare and probably would have gone in the late first considering Kolb (the ultimate system QB) went at the top of the second.

I am pulling for JJ and MBIII to tear it up.

Romo to be A OK.

Our project OT to be wel on their way to start.

That leaves our need to be WR... Manningham will easily be a #1 WR.

Even CCC knows Manningham is 10x better than Ginn.

He has already admitted this.

If Manningham could have decared this year he would have been 2nd to CJ.

Michael Oher, OT, Mississippi if he comes out. That's who I'd want.

The best thing about this extra pick is we can afford to pick for need AND for want if need be; if Romo has a bad season (which he won't) we can look at qb; we could also try to get mcfadden (hopefully Cleveland will have an atrocious season so we will have a high pick)...or we could do it the way real pimps do; Trade one of the first round picks to another team for compensation in lower rounds or for future picks. I would have liked to get Meachem, but I gues Jerrah has alot of faith in Austin/Hurd, and that is exciting.
