Pollard is not a number one back. You will soon all see this. Especially after his ACL.
Pollard was already the #1 back last year. Or did you miss him leading the team in yards and making the pro bowl?

FYI..........Pollard didnt do anything to his ACL. LOL

Amazing how uninformed many of you are?

I agree. But you mean broken leg, but I guess there was some ligament damage they won't talk about as well.

I seen something similar to this I stole, but changed it a little....Replacing Zeke with Pollard as the "bell cow" is like replacing Emmitt with Hambrick...
Another wrong way analysis for you on RB's. Bell cow? Was Zeke the great bell cow you said he was with 200 carries?

So now Pollard is hambrick? Did Hambrick ever make the pro bowl?

Is your hero Zeke still out of a job? Looks like you still cant handle the truth.

Pollard was the best back 2 years in a row. If you're counting on your RB to be a blocking guru, you're dodging the issue at hand. OL needs to be better, and play calling needs to have more balance.
Pollard had probably one of the least worrisome injuries a RB could have. Fracture of if the small bone in the lower leg. No soft tissue tears or anything. Pollard wont miss a beat.

Pollard is far more explosive than Hambone ever was, but I'm concerned with RB as it stands. If Zeke isn't properly replaced, people will see how important he was to this offense.
Zeke dragged down the offense. We are better off with out him by subtraction. They would be dumb to give Jones 200 carries, but if they did he could easily replace the hapless Zeke.

I did not mean to imply he will be fine. I was saying ... for now ....
No doubt this needs to be addressed in the draft. OT & OG. No matter where they intend to play Tyler. That may depend on the draft as to which position is the BPA taken as well, until Steele is ready to return. I believe he should be the RT when he does.

I think if they draft an OL, say in the 1st round and plan to start him, then leave Tyron as the swing tackle, once Steele returns.
That is absolute the #1 best scenario. Tyron as the swing tackle? Who was the first one to suggest that?

Quite a few suggested that all around the same time. Myself included. No one was really 1st, that can be proven, unless you want to go back through thousands of posts.

No need to go back it was me. I was the first to mention Tyron as a swing tackle.

You’re spot on with this one.

Didn't he also have a high ankle sprain? That's a soft tissue injury.

You mean it was a bait?
No, just having some fun but I guess it was taken the wrong way.
I didn’t think it would be taken seriously. Since it was a bizarre statement. You are the only one that commented about it That I know of. I have not read all the the subsequent posts yet.

Well based on your past RB statements not sure it’s too out of left field but glad to know you don’t believe it.

Do you have a few backs you like in the draft besides bijon?

If we get to the 26th pick and bijon, ocyrus, mayers are available who are you taking?

Tough call. The two RB’s you mentioned before, Miller and Akanimanka or how ever it is spelled. Will they be available when we pick in the 2nd or 3rd.
If so, I would not mind Ocyrus, as it is also deeper draft in TE’s and possibly RB’s, maybe not so much with an OG. I am not sure on that though.

But if there is an OL in the 2nd round can’t pass on Robinson. Though many don’t think we should ever go RB in the 1st round, which I disagree with. If he is the BPA. I would be ok with any of those 3.

I need to spend more time looking at the draft yet. In a few weeks I may have a more definitive choice.
