Joseph nor Cox are even listed. Though it is meant to be a 2 deep depth chart, but they have 3 listed in a few areas.

What is FLEX, as they have Kearse and Bell there, and Wilson as the sole SS.

Kearse and presumably Bell are a 2nd LB that also could be considered another SS. It's what Quinn has been running.

Patrik Walker made this depth chart. You can look at the website's depth chart and Nahshon Wright is 1st team and Joseph is 2nd team. It's made by the team media as well.

Pat is being creative, but DQ puts 2 LBs on the field, so that Flex position may be used in more of a dime situation.

Hopefully Micah play a little more MLB and let LVE be the WILL on run downs.

Mukuamu LCB2 is interesting, but he could do that and backup FS too.

Overall, lots of depth and talent, glad to finally have a good defense.

why would you trade him.. literally people on this board forget about what he did... he is a special teams ACE and we can't keep putting CJ Goodwin on the roster every year... let him play ST until the end of his contract and keep CJ off the roster, he is expensive and takes up another depth piece... at least KJ can play corner in a heartbeat - have you ever seen CJ Goodwin come into a game for CB relief? get the bias of he's a murderer out of your mind and look at it from a cap and talent stand-point, all you would be doing is giving another team a special teams ace

Interesting that Cox doesn’t get nearly the hate that others have gotten despite doing less than nothing in the league. Even guys like Trysten Hill played and weren’t anything special but weren’t really liabilities either.

ok in all seriousness we cannot take a EDGE player in the top 3, we are stacked really at the Edge position. I see Galimore and Golston are Due to come up for contract in a year or 2 so we need to find replacements for them at 3T and we only signed Hankins on a 1 year deal so we need another NT with Bohanna.

i see top needs for Defense as:

Based on the rankings that just came out CB is the best of those 4 by a wide margin in terms of depth in draft quality....edge is the number 1 apparently...we need help where pickins are going to be slim so this could be an interesting draft in terms of movement

I do think based on how we ended the season (in the playoffs) that right now, Mukuamu would come in at slot and Bland would go outside if anything happened to one of the starting corners. If Lewis comes back healthy, he'd probably be the fourth corner. Joseph will have to prove that he deserves to be in front of either.
