This was pulled from an ESPN Insider article that I just came across:
Who's your MVP pick right now?
Bowen: I think Cowboys rookie running back Ezekiel Elliott should be in the discussion after shredding another defense up in Green Bay, but it's still Matt Ryan at this point of the season. The Falcons own the top spot in the NFC South and Ryan continues to produce. Through six games, Ryan has thrown for 2,075 yards and 15 touchdowns with only three interceptions. He's dealing right now in Kyle Shanahan's offense.
Clayton: Ryan has the edge. He almost pulled off the upset in Seattle, and he has been the best quarterback in the league during the first six weeks. Ryan and Shanahan are giving the Falcons a great chance to win the NFC South.
Graziano: Sam Bradford. I know, who'd have thunk it, right? But the Vikings needed him badly enough that they dealt a first-round pick (and a conditional fourth) for him the week before the season, and he has been playing turnover-free football for an undefeated team without its star running back and starting left tackle. He gets the early edge over Ryan.
Sando: Elliott. He has been a huge factor in Dak Prescott's early success for a team no one saw going 5-1 to start the season. Bradford wasn't a consideration for me because the Vikings have yet to allow more than 16 points in a game this season. Fun fact: Ryan Fitzpatrick and Ryan Tannehill have a combined 48-3 starting record when their teams allow no more than 16 points in a game.
Schatz: It's still a passing league, and Ryan has been the best quarterback in the league so far according to both Football Outsiders' DVOA ratings and ESPN's Total QBR metric. His biggest improvement this year? He's spreading the ball around to other players besides Julio Jones.
