Predict the 2009-2010 NBA MVP and the World Champions...

NBA MVP will be Chris Paul and the Champions will be of course my LA Lakers.

MVP will be Lebron James

NBA Champs will be San Antonio

mvp will be wade, spurs vs celtics in the finals, TD dominates KG to settle that argument once and for all

The Wizards will win 50, and make the Eastern Conference finals...

Let's see anybody go further out on a limb than that...

OKC will win 48...earn the 7 seed, make it to the 2nd round and take the Spurs to 7 games, before losing out.

Spurs vs Wizards in the Finals....and SA gets revenge for losing in the late 70s in the ECF to Washington.

Cavs over Celtics in Ecf

Lakers over Mavs in Wcf

Lakers over Cavs in 6.

Shaq gets hang nail and misses a quarter of the season.

LeBron racks up another MVP and sweeps the Lakers in the Finals

Just hand the championsip over to Lebron now..it will save alot of time.

Grizzlies worst record in the league with Iverson

Slightly better when he's booted

MVP - LeBron

East----Boston vs. Cleveland ----Boston wins in 6
West----Lakers vs. Portland ----Lakers win in 6

Finals----Boston vs. Lakers ---- Lakers in 7

I didn't realize it was an argument. KG is a future Hall of Famer, no doubt about it, but Tim Duncan is the best PF of all-time. 'Nough said.

As for the championship game, barring injuries it should be Lakers over Spurs in the WCF, and Cavs over Magic in the ECF. If KG returns to form then switch the Celtics and Magic, but I have my doubts that at his age, and more importantly with his mileage, AND the injury he sustained, that he will be able to do that.

I would like to hold off on predicting anything worthwhile about the Wizards until we see how Arenas does after two years out of the game. They were little better than a 50 win team in a much weaker Eastern Conference when he was healthy, despite their current depth and talent. But we will see, I have certainly been wrong before.

As for my Mavs, I think they have the talent and depth to finish third in the West. They are still one major piece away from being a serious title contender, but they are a better team than they were last year, especially if Josh Howard is healthy and back to his slashing ways (those are not necessarily the same thing). Shawn Marion seems to really being enjoying himself, and even though he is not the same Matrix he was even a few years ago, he is still the first legit defender we have had with Dirk, and also the first real threat to drop down some alley oops from Kidd on a regular basis. They should be fun to watch.

As for the Rockets, I think they will be a tough out all year. I'm not sure if they are a playoff team, but they will give it a real shot, and I would not be surprised to see them finish number 8 or 9 when it is all done.
