Rebuild the offensive line.

At this point, I wouldn't even worry about a guard, especially if we can get Waters for another year.

It's at the point where you basically have to replace this entire defensive line. It's funny the only player I could envision returning is Hatcher. That isn't to say DeMarcus Ware is washed up, I think he could be a nice 3rd down option, but he just isn't worth what they're paying him.

The other issue is all that tied up money, but I would say trade Ware next year if we can get ANY value for him at this point. We may need to just release him outright.

Anthony Spencer... Obvious. Unless this guy wants to return for like 3 to 3.5 million a year he should be gone. Even at that price, he should probably be gone.

Jay Ratliff... I wanted to see him come back and play in this scheme, but at this rate, he needs to be gone next year. Getting rid of Ratliff so late/early is still going to cost us though. 6.9 million in dead money next year. Which of course we'll try to move around over the course of the next two seasons. Save about 1.2 million if we eat all the dead money next year.

8.5 million in dead money to get rid of DeMarcus Ware. Also again, something you would want to mitigate by spreading it out over the course of a couple years. Total savings? 7.5 million dollars if we absorb it all next year. It would be great if we can find someone willing to trade for him. I think he will still end up with 10+ sacks this year, so maybe it is a possibility.

These three players cost us 22,792,950 dollars this year.

I guess my point is that fixing this defensive line is doable, but it almost certainly involves removing DeMarcus Ware, which I think is tragic and falls on this front office for wasting his talent for so many years, but we still have Romo, and we can't continue to waste his talent or Wittens on this poor defense.

First, second, and third round picks should all be defensive linemen, and we should sign at least 1 top talent in free agency. We probably could have gotten elvis dumervil this year had we not franchised Spencer. Dumervil signed a 5 year 26 million dollar contract... so 5.2 million dollars per year... Didn't we just give Spencer like 18 million dollars for 2 years... in which he played I think less than 16 games... what a con artist.

So like I said, 1st through 3rd round... should be all defensive linemen. And hopefully we can get something out of Crawford next year. Combine that with guys that we're developing this year... and maybe we can accomplish something.

Ware is washed up. Done. Hopefully he can get traded next season (or this season) and Dallas can get something for him. Sorry, this guy has shown next to nothing this season and is allegedly supposed to be one of the best. He may have been, not any longer. NO PLAYER should be safe.

Rat and Spence.... ? Can leave anytime..

Suprisingly,, I like 4 out of the 5 OL... Get a new LG and I could be happy with them.

I don't disagree. Ware and Selvie will be serviceable for another year or so. You can't expect rookies to come in and immediately dominate. Also, I don't know what our salary cap situation will look like, but I wouldn't mind us going after a few guys.

Leary is a young developing player who is just going to keep getting better. My primary concern with the line is whether or not Waters will keep playing with us. Not much to complain about with this line. I would trade Ware in a heartbeat, but I don't think we can move him this year due to the salary cap.

Well, even better if Leary can improve and the O-line can get more chemistry together. Yes, the Waters issue is a biggie. Huge concern..
