the roster.
As I mentioned, it's early days, but thus far I think that
D Bailey is leading the FG kicking competition. Maybe we keep two kickers (Buehler for kickoffs), but I think Bailey has a real shot to be the FG kicker.
R Radway has a good shot at the roster as well, imo. Clearly, after Miles, Dez, and Ogletree it's a wide open competition. I would guess Harris makes the roster as well. So that's 4.
But I think that Radway may offer the Cowboys some upside that the other wideouts don't necessarily offer. Specifically, his pure speed and massive frame (around 6' 3"). We'll have to see how he fares on STs, but he's another big wideout - the type the Cowboys seem to really like. If he's even with the veteran fringe guys, you probably go with the youth because of his upside.
Lastly, A Albright has a shot at LB. I think he's probably less likely than Bailey, for example, if I were to rank the probability.
But it would not be surprising for the Cowboys to keep 9 LBs on the roster.
Again, I think it will come down to STs play.
Finally, at RB, I am currently giving the edge to Miller rather than Tanner for the moment. That's mostly based on Miller's experience. But, I suppose if Choice is made redundant, that Tanner could also make it as an UDFA as well. But right now I'm leaning towards Miller if it comes down to that.
In any case, whether we keep only 2 or 3 UDFAs (or more), given the lack of time these guys have had with no mini-camps, etc., it's an excellent haul.
