Early Prediction 8-8 season

I think Dallas is better than 8-8, their talent alone will allow them to win 8 games, however if they went 11-5 or 10-6 it would not shock me because of the tough schedule. I believe they'll be a better team because of it and will advance in the playoffs.

If this team goes 8-8 -- for any reason other than an early season-ending injury to Romo and, perhaps, T.O. -- the whole team deserves to be let go.

The offense rolls up yards at ease, we've got a great special teams (minus the all-important coverage aspect of it), and the defense has talent and potential. Sure, we need to see more from the defense, as it has looked soft, but you have to wonder if some of that can be attributed to this being the preseason and the calls are vanilla. We'll see.

I'll be happy if they play their best week in and week out and let the chips fall where they may, record-wise. They have the talent to throw down a good record. Leadership? That's another story and is a large reason they flop late in the year and in the playoffs.

BUT...the Boys could easily go 8-8 or worse.....OR they could
have another great record.
you cant base this year on last year, you cant base it on who "should"
beat who. you have to produce, week in and week out.

thats the beauty of sports and why i enjoy watching them. i dont even like
predictions and put no stock in them.

Would not shock me either. My feeling has nothing to do with schedule though. Winning is tough in the NFL against any team. Any given Sunday.

It wont take a boatload. Any of the following single injuries would do it.

• Romo
• Owens
• Witten
• Ware
