I have said all year that the 49ers were playing Russian Roulette with McCafferey's health as much as they use him. Today the wheel stopped on "he hurt."

How stupid does that 2nd down pass play look for Cleveland now? They could have run another 40 seconds off the clock and instead chose to kill it with an incomplete pass.

SF had timeouts so no they couldn't have ran 40 seconds off the clock.

It was stupid to throw it though, make SF use up all their time outs
