I think I'll be in my newly built theater sucking up as much electricity as possible. At least I hope I will be, if it's finished in time. I gotta prepare!

As I said earlier, we should all take care of the planet. That's a "duh"

But one has to ask if there will be prison time for all these people hawking global warming for profit schemes if in fact it is proven that man really isn't making a real dent in global temps one way or the other.
I mean, 10 years ago Gore was getting a Nobel Peace prize and almost not a single thing in his movie has come true .

I know a rancher who says he was offered $8 an acre from the Gore et al Chicago exchange for "pollution credits"...and they were going to turn around and sell them for $26 / acre.
Multi-billion (trillion?) dollar redistribution...that is the goal. Clear and plain as day.

Having said that, I 100% agree we should keep the air clean and water as clean as possible.
So go for it.

Electronics- in general are way waaay more power efficient than they use to be. LOL

One thing that struck me as kinda extreme is when I heard a famous guy- a scientist say "unplug your flat screen because they never turn off but are in a sleep mode when you hit power".

Needless to say I laughed because the old CRTs(50s-90s) used a ton more energy in use compared to a flat screen and in sleep mode a flat screen uses like 5% of that much more efficient use of power.

If we take it as truth that climate change is significantly impacted by man then surely you should be campaigning to have us cut down on our reliance on fossil fuels, carbon emissions etc year round rather than sit in the dark for an hour once a year then turn everything back on and jump in our SUV down to the shops congratulating ourselves on what wonderful selfless people we are?
Stupid gimmick that serves no purpose whatsoever.
