The NFL's 32 franchises are well-represented in St Petersburg, Florida this week to take in the East-West Shrine Game, the first of the major postseason scouting events. The 80-degree temperatures made for pleasant viewing for league scouts, though its been tough for some of the participants, many of whom have not played football in almost two months. Numerous next-level prospects stood out during Tuesday's practice. Here are the 10 best.

Kendall Wright is really good.
But 1st WR taken?
I'd be shocked.

Myself but I would not be shocked if he turned out to be a top WR in the league.

McShay said BJ Cunningham of Michigan State has looked GREAT and is really turning heads. He only runs a 4.6, but is VERY big and physical with exceptional hands: which I can attest to as I saw him alot in college. I like him as a 5th or 6th rounder but McShay said he could go 3rd or 4th ( I doubt it) With Dez's mercurial nature and Miles hammy problems.......yeah or nay on this kid?

A.J. Jenkins, Illinois wide receiver: He might have helped himself as much as any player in this game, and moved into the third-round range depending on his workout. Two front office men called Jenkins the best receiver in this game.

Jenkins consistently got open and made nice catches in practice.

"He looked fast and quick and was good out of his breaks," one scout said. "He had a nice week."

from the Chicago Tribune

Telling you guys that Jenkins is a complete monster. I'd compare him to Greg Jennings honestly.

and I certainly wouldn't compare him to Jennings: his hands aren't as good. He dropped a ball in the Michigan game this past season that would have kept them in the game: dropsies are part of the reason he's not a higher round projection. Don't get me wrong: his physical intangibles are GREAT, and it's not his fault he had NO QB to throw him the ball....but can he be trusted to consistently catch the ball in game situations? That's the question with this kid.....if we were to have an extra 3rd or 4th rounder, he'd be worth a gamble.

Hands are the last thing I would ever EVER say Jenkins doesn't have. He has GREAT hands and actually catches the ball with his hands instead of letting it get in on him. Really never thought defending Jenkins hands would be something that needed to be done.

nope. not related to him at all.:)
You'll change that tune, sister girl, if he's drafted,or picked up by,say, The Dallas Cowboys?

........especially the big one vs. MIchigan: remember it like it was yesterday........but that was then, this is now. He could take off...who knows? I would think Dallas would be much better off re-signing Robinson and then we are set at WR........If Jenkins goes in the 3rd round that's a spot we could upgrade our LB or Oline at......knowing our luck the Skins will get him and he'll haunt us for years........then again, they have as much luck drafting WR's as we do with Olinemen so who knows

I don't want to draft him in the 3rd round. Pre- East-West shrine game he was believed to go at least in the 5th. I'm a huge Illini fan man and unfortunately I watch every Illinois football game. You wanna point out one game where he dropped a pass. He had a few other drops, but if you would have watched him his entire career then you wouldn't question AJ's hands. You might question his focus and who can blame him with the O that Illinois ran. Greg Jennings part 2 IMO.
