I love the Boyz but I have suggestions to make winning easier.

1. Pollard stop running the ball out of the end zone. You don't take chances and you are not decicevie enough to make quick decisions. Take the touch back and 25 yard line.
2. STOP running the ball into the middle of the line on 1st down!!! Every Cowboy fan expect you to do this so you know the other team is expecting this.
3. It's Super Bowl or bust. There needs to be at least 4 designed runs for the Qb to upset the lbs and safeties and open up the short zones . If the defense has to stop Daks arm and his legs, it's makes us more effective.
4. Trade the 1st next draft for a DT that hardens the middle of our D line. Or trade a 6th for a one year "loaner".
5. More "stretch" run plays to Pollard between guard and tackle.
6. More screen plays when the opponents D is pressuring the qb too much.
7. Stop going for it on 4th down unless you are inside the opponents 35.
8. 5-1 no Gallup, said player is a free agent next season. Trade him if you can before the deadline. YOU WONT BE ABLE TO SIGN HIM NEXT OFF SEASON. Gallup won't command a huge contract next off season from other teams. He just doesn't have the resume nor value for other teams when OBJ can be had for a 3rd from the Browns.
9. Jerry if your team is soooooo explosive, reel in Bones and McCarthy on taking chances. That sandlot stuff will get us beat in the playoffs.
10. Conner Williams needs to SIT when he F'cks up. Watching Conner Mc play might make him get his act together.

Neville Gallimore is coming back and he was really good at some points last year.

I don’t mind a trade but no need to give up a first at a position we have some nice talent at.

Also, I know nobody wants to hear this, but Trysten Hill didn’t look as terrible to me as he did everyone else last season and I wouldn’t give up on that just yet.

Being scared of 4th downs with this offense is old-school outdated thinking. After consideration of distance and how the game is flowing, I'm all for avoiding punts.

I can agree with number 1 and number 5 but I could punch holes in all the others. I am lazy and I think because it is a bye week that someone else will do it for me.

I'm on a bye too.

Didn't Gallup get hurt in the first half of the Bucs game? I get that the Cowboys are 5-1 but they are 1-1 against the better teams in the NFL. At any rate the playoffs are going to be much harder and the Cowboys need to field the best team possible to advance as far as we hope.

I feel we will need Gallup especially in the post season, so keeping him for this run is imperative and we would be hard pressed to find a good trade for him at this point. Might as well just get that comp pick. Having four great WRs will be advantageous as well as Jarwin/Schultz combo. but i agree with #1 wholeheartedly.....i just would be happy starting at the 25 every time. We never get any kind of long returns anyway. Running it out, and then getting the customary blocking in the back penalty gets us starting inside our 10....me no likey.

I feel that we need to get some athletic beef in the middle or we lose in the middle like we did in LA a couple years ago. The chances of getting ran on increases during the playoffs and BIG games.

I agree.

Like I read after the game Sunday: A good rule-of-thumb test for the New England punt in overtime: If every Dallas fan wants you to punt and every New England fans doesn’t want you to punt… it probably was a better idea to go for it.

Obviously, each situation is different, but there are absolutely times where I want the team to go for it on 4th down. However, that doesn’t mean that I think it was a good idea to go for it on the first drive (inside Dallas’ own 40) on Sunday.

Much of the time, I do think it is a good idea though. Belichick is so Wiley and can scheme up a defense so well that I probably wouldn’t have run up the middle on 4th and short. I definitely would try to get the edge on that defense.

We need to run more screen plays

They don't seem to be doing #2 as often this year, or maybe it's just that's just been more effective when they do. The last couple of years, I used to call out "Zeke up the middle for 1 yard" on 1st down and often was correct. Hasn't been that way too often this year.

I'd give up a mid round pick for a one year rental on a good veteran LB if a team going through a rebuild starts dangling one at the trade deadline, but I think we're ok on the defensive line, some secondary help would be great too but there are playoff contenders who are in worse shape than us that would give up more, the center situation prolly can't be addressed until the draft
