From the art deco linear island of truth, justice and the Armenian Way of Life, Air Cowboys America in Farmer Branch, where we have many properties from where the rich and intelligencia have fled.

Gentlemens, did the defense lay an egg?
A lot of you are saying that.

The truth is, the defense continuously bent but did not break.
It did a credible job, despite no sacks and an enemic pass rush. Our secondary was not great shakes (even Newman gave up a long ball) but did not surrender. And it hit hard. And twice I saw their WRs drop balls because they heard footsteps.

On the other hand the offense provided a varied and imaginative attack that focuses on no one but kept the Bucs damned-good defense on its heels.

And count the big plays. Those who had them include RW, Crawfish, Witten, Austin, Barber, Felix, Romo . . . .
This is an offensive machine with many pistons . . . . still in fine-tuning by Jason Garrett

So this game was not a work of art, but, still, the defense was not that bad and the offense is better than even we think.

Next time, in Texas stadium, watch out!!!

Great going Cowboys, B-

I think both the Weather and first half D overplaying it ( i.e. seems like they are not playing their assignments etc. in first half), had D playing bad first half. I think we will see different D next week, especially with Home Crowd.

I think overall, O and D were pressing a lot first half, since pressure was on Cowboys and not Bucs to win the game.

You can't be great in all phases in every game. For the most part, things that were thought to be strengths and weaknesses were just the opposite today. Next week, it might be completely different.

The bottom line is that we won by 13 points on the road (and that includes a garbage-time TD allowed). In the NFL, you take that every time and move on to the next one.

Always happy with a win!

All I want is for this team to never give up, play their hearts out, compete for four quarters and if I can be a little greedy, I'd like to see the defense develop some violent aggression.

If they compete all year and never pull a no-show (Rams & Eagles of 08), they'll be in the running to win any game and I'll be happy as a lark.

Just keep learning, improving and competing Boyz!

Exactly, and next week we'll see better performances all the way around.

Mostly, but I thought our Secondary is not all that hyped to be, even before this game. But yeah, our Pass Rush was opposite of what we thought it would be, although second half they did have much better showing. Leftwitch did some pretty darn good things to take the hits and deliver throws though.

We can't say for sure about this D till we see 3-4 more games. We can then see a pattern emerging for most part.
