Per football scoop, Derek Dooley signed a 3 yr. $2.7mil contract with Mizzou to be their OC..... $900,000 yr. has to be about double what he was making with the Boys.

He didn't leave for money. He left because he was tasked with coaching a declining #1 WR to run an antiquated route tree with an inaccurate QB and wasn't allowed any input on improving an impossible situation. His reputation as a coach and therefore his earning power was declining with every sub par performance from players who are supposed to be stars.

Yes he got a huge raise. And he was going to get some blame for our lack of passing success in the last half of 2017.

His reputation was already in the dumps before he got to Dallas.

So I take it his earning power is no longer declining after signing for what he did at Mizzou?

and he goes to the SEC where there are no rules when recruiting and actually, you know, taking classes so the Alabama's and LSU's of the world will all be bigger, faster, stronger...although, dumber....

ROFL. Could you fit anymore agenda into one post?

Dooley refused to sign the extension LAST year when the team was 13-3.
He wanted a larger role than WR Coach but mostly he wanted to get back into college as a playcaller.
He was able to do that in the SEC and with a big raise.

Dooley and Dez had a great relationship and the team liked Dooley but wasn't giving him any play design role.
Dooley wants to be a college head coach again.
He was never in line for promotion in Dallas.

Our receivers need some different blood any how I was hoping he would be gone this year. Dak was far from perfect, but our receivers were bad on their own. He hyped up both Street and Terrance Williams, both are well below average.
