This week, i argued that Jeremy Maclin, Desean Jackson and Jason Avant matched up better against our cbs than our WRs against Hobbs and Samuels.
I also said Crayton was 30, Austin already 25, were putting similar numbers to the 21 and 22 year olds in Philly, and so Philly had the upside.

I was totally wrong. Even though i am an Ogletree Hugger(other than being in the Cult), i was caught up in the opposing team's highlight reel(i never get to watch Philly), and miserably failed to have confidence in my own blood.

It is clear that Jackson, Avant and Maclin can be defended easily. I believe in this group of WR. I believe in RW11. I believe in our CBs.

Asante deserves what he got after going at Felix's knees. **** him.
Hobbs sucks. **** him.
Mitkell sucks. **** him.

Believe Our Team.

Philly has a really nice group of young receivers. Speaking critically, though, I wonder if they're simply not a little one-dimensional. They're all littler guys who like to get deep. Look at DeSean Jackson's production in games he doesn't grab a 50-yard touchdown. Kind of akin to a home run hitter who strikes out in every other at bat IMO. Still a good player, but a guy that can disappear I think.

I was wrong about Olgetree. He clearly is the 2nd best thing since sliced bread.

Wait.... third best thing, Austin is still better.

Wait. 4th best. Or Buehler is gonna kick my ***.

If Buehler had made the tackle on that kickoff TD that was called back, I would've gone crazy.:D It wasn't his best game (no touchbacks), but he gets a pass from me because he has been clutch all season.

They are just very good athletes playing wide receiver. They are good enough athletes to do well like that for now. In time they will develop into fine receivers. It takes time for any guy coming out of college to develop their games and refine all the things a receiver has to do. All receivers go through this growing process. Hopefully they don't develop. :D

I applaud your eating your words but I question rather or not you won't be back here talking about how he 'fooled you for the last time' again the very next time he has an off game.

This was one of the better games that Garrett has ever called. I don't remember many headscratchers.

Just like him getting too much blame in a loss, I wouldn't put this all on Romo...This was a team victory...Just like there were team mistakes (As well as #9 mistakes) yesterday, as well.

Romo turns a corner when he is part of a Cowboys team that puts to bed, bad Decembers

What not even the wildcat at the goal line where Choice took it in for the TD? I tought for sure the Garrett critics would be upset over that. :laugh2:

I won't put Maclin and Jackson down too much. They're scary playmakers. They can beat you deep easily. Thankfully we played them very well but who knows how it goes in that match up for the next 6 or 8 years.
