I think they like Mykel. I think they view him as a Tank style DE who can seal the edge vs the run

However I thought that is what they drafted last year in the second.

Personally if they are going to get a DE with the first I would rather have the pass rusher in Green from Marshall.

Green or Pearce would be great but apparently significant off the field issues.

I love Donovan E but might be a 2nd round target.

I would definitely be onboard with Mykel at 12. His testing metrics are adequate. He loves football and you can see the potential when he plays. I think he’s going to make a better pro than he was in college.

I like Green and Pearce, but I don’t believe either of those guys are 3-down starters, at least early (first 1-2 years). I think Williams is a Day 1 starter and can play all three downs.

From what I have heard, people feel the Green issues was either past or not enough to take him off their boards.
However there are teams who have completely taken Pearce off their boards.

Who knows what is the truth.
