Eberflus' M.O. Hasn't Changed, And Very Likely Never Will

Eberfluke is going to cost us many more games. Just watch. His stubborness is going to destroy this season. He needs to be fired already if this team is to have a chance to turn this season around. If Schotty refuses to fire him for whatever reason, Schotty needs to go too. Tired of favoring lesser coaches while wasting away good talent year after year.

They can “quiet fire” him by taking the game day play calling away from him.

After all, if it the players, or the workers, who will get the job done and make the coach, or manager, look good - or bad. Eberflus came in and decided to ignore the players he had, and by that I mean their strengths and weaknesses. He decided he would install his system and bend his players to fit it. This is a critical mistake in judgement, and a mistake I think is unforgivable. When you add the stubbornness, or arrogance, to resist changes even after 6 miserable performances, it just becomes a worse case for him.

Granted, he may have planned to have Parsons at least for this season and with Parsons he would have a reliable pass rush. But Parsons pressuring the QB still does not make his 2 best CB into good zone players when their success was in man coverage. Eberflus has not been very good at seeing the talent he has and getting the most out of it.

Why is Kenneth Murray still on the field? Why is he even on this team? This too is Eberflus being stubborn. I have seen on the all-22 videos clips of Murray doing things on the field that are simply inexplicable. People complain about Sam Williams and Mazi Smith, or Donovan Wilson and Trevon Diggs. But when you watch Murray every play, and I recommend it to all Cowboys fans, trust me, you will change the target of your ire. This is on Eberflus too.

I cannot advocate firing Eberflus now because I have no idea who can replace him at this point in the season. This is also a failure of the front office for not having a backup plan. But if there was a backup plan, I would have fired Eberflus two games ago.

Regarding Everflops, He single handed destroy Cowboys 2025 season. Don't try to tell me All pro corners suddenly forget how to play football. The defense has guys currently in the team working really well with Dan Quinn before. Don't tell me they lost steps. This is on def coordinator and head coach. Everflops is not the only one failing. BS also failed this team if he can't see how bad his def coordinator is.
