It's amazing what an influx of better to great players does for results. Yes I know it's the Raiders but you could eye ball and see the difference.

The PASS rush on certain plays looked suspect!! There were a few times where Smith was able to get a free lane to run through and step up and throw as our defenders rushed too wide

So far this season his defense has looked best against teams missing WR threats (Washington minus McLaurin and Deebo, as well as the Raiders who only have threats at TE).

If the influx of talent has made him better, we will see soon enough because the Eagles, Chiefs, Lions, Vikings, and Chargers have WRs who can beat most defenses.

I'll be open minded on Eberflus the rest of the way, but we still need to see a lot more. You add a stud like Williams to the front 4 you get an immediate shot in the arm, but the never few weeks we will see more tape on this defense that has been given a mini overhaul as well as much better competition. We know what this defense can do now, but just as important is how often they can be this type of unit. Having a strong game every 4 weeks wont cut it in this league.

The jury is still out for me.

It was against the Raiders, one of the worst teams in the league.

I’ll wait and see how they fare against Philadelphia.
I’ll wait and see how they fare against Philadelphia and beyond before making a decision. But Jerry will keep him no matter.

Eberflus' defenses, at their peak in Indy and Chicago, were just "good" or "okay".

He has seven more games with a full defensive roster to change my mind, but I still think a change is needed next year.

True, jury is still out. However, we put the game away early, when it would have gone down to the wire before.

All I saw was a QB with more INTS than TDs with nothing but a TE going against an NFL defense.

The next month brings you guys that think anything is different back to earth.

Step in the right direction but the coach needs to step it up bigtime. The Cowboys leaned on talent to beat a bad raiders team. They will need a schematic advantage going forward.

This kind of reminds me of earlier in the year when we looked good against Washington for a game (who was missing their top WR's and their QB went out) and then we went right back to getting shredded. Hopefully this isn't the same story.

Smart man. Cant gauge anything by beating the Raiders, just like with the Jets.Im not going for the rollercoaster ride either. Like after the Jets game, etc.
This is basically a classic 500 team. All the wins have come against bottom feeders. All the losses have been to teams with better records. With 2 exceptions. One great surprise - tying the Packers. One great disappointment - losing to the Cardinals.
Yes we were all expecting wins and disappointed by losing to Carolina and Chicago, but they are better teams than us now record wise, so can't really say we got upset in those games - but rather they would have been upsets right now had they won those games.
Thats a 500 team all the way.

The only game we can afford to lose is the KC game or the Chargers. We need every NFC win we can get.

Geno was picking apart the zone for a little while on Monday. I hate this D

he is the worst playcalker I have ever seen in the NFL, he should not be allowed to coach even in high school.
