Eberflus talks about Sean Lee instincts to Overshown

Even better, hire the coach who coached Sean Lee.

Overshown is coming back.
Even better, go hire Sean Lee to come "coach up" DeMarvion Overshown and the rest of the LBs when it comes to studying film, preparation, etc.

I always wonder why certain people develop the way they do.

Is there a hypothesis where your physical talent limitations force you to develop other skills in order to cope/survive/succeed?

You aren't the fastest physically so you become the fastest metally.

I think he loved the game. Thats a start.

That passion leads you to work at it. So you can stay in the game.

Lot of guys that are more physically talented that just dont have that same passion.

You mean Matt Eberfluus ;) the guy who also made some of our other linebackers play a lot better when they were here, I mean he made some average linebackers play above average....

Ive always wanted to see Sean Lee coaching or at the very least a consultant for us. His vision was elite. If Overshown can grasp even fraction of that, skies the limit...
Actually, he already has more than a fraction If he gained more that would be great, but this dude has instincts we're not talking about Clark here or a guy that was probably as bad that had a lot of physical talent but zero instincts that would be Jaylen Smith.

You can tell , I watched him in college and the pros that Overshown has instincts, they're just not yet at the level of Sean Lee, but when you say fraction, he has a fraction and then some... It's just hopeful that he'll elevate that into something even more But this man is rarely late he's pretty damn good at diagnosing plays...Liafu is another that will benefit from Matts defense..

I really like Lee. If only he could have stayed healthy.

This DC will fully connect the defensive line with the secondary. Making it a top 10 before the end of this season and push victories up to at least 10. This fan will be looking forward to this year's playoffs for Dallas and real indicators beyond a wrinkled calendar.

I mean, Sean Lee did maximize his potential - I'd call him a HOF level player when he was on the field. But I don't like the implication that he was some athletically limited, try-hard Rudy type

Check out the burst and agility numbers. His long speed wasn't good, but those short-area and explosion numbers will play down in the box, especially for a guy whose eyes already put him a step ahead of everyone else.
