Economy in Dallas, TX...

I was just wondering how bad is it over there. I'm considering moving to dallas between April and June. I work for Home Depot so my job is transferrable. I'm wondering how bad has it gotten in Dallas and is it worth moving? It can't be any worse than Florida. Any input is appreciated.

I want to do the same thing but my boss poo poo'd it. I'd stay in the same position just based out of Dallas and cover just our "West" region.
