What is Eric Allen talking about? When did we let the speed get behind us late in the year?

Meh.

Whomever that D player is inside the division that thinks Romo will struggle is in for a rude awakening.

I am expecting more big plays from the run game (F Jones) and more O opportunities because of the better defensive play (Pacman Jenkins> Jones Reeves) from our secondary.

I am guessing an Eagle. Brian Dawkins.

I'm willing to bet money it was Antonio Pierce.
Could be. Eric Allen, former Eagle. The clip showed Romo struggling against the Eagles.

Romo should keep that quote with him all year and take it out on all division foes.

Only when Santana Moss burned Reeves in the fourth quarter of the season finale, when we were already behind 20-3. But that play had to be why we lost that game and the playoff game. Right?

You just have to take these type reports with a grain of salt. When you're such a heavy fav as we are/will be, you're gonna have plenty of people trying to play devils advocate. Grasping at any straw to make a case against us.

But I like the take on Tony. That was priceless. Lets see, take away his first read/option and keep him in the pocket. Anything else? Oh how about also covering his second option and get a real good pass rush. Ya and when you get their, rip off his right arm. Ok then will see how good he is.

Oh god the season cant get here fast enough.

I really think it's an Eagle defensive player. They think they beat us in Dallas based on their defensive scheme which included moving a player into the position left vacant when the blitzer was coming after Romo. They were aware one of the reasons the Cowboys so effective against the blitz was that Romo would go back to the position left vacant in the blitz & pick up big yardage on the play. The reality was that Romo's accuracy was way off that game/he couldn't hit the broadside of a barn.

It's amusing that we heard the same thing about our opponents being able to beat Romo once they saw enough game film. So all through 06 until the very end of 07 they think they finally had enough game film to figure out what Romo & Garrett were trying to do. What a joke. Geez, those guys aren't anywhere near as smart as they think they are. Garrett & Romo have reviewed every one of the games they played in 07. You better believe Garrett will have so many tricks up his sleeve/and so many more weapons which can thrwart any defense. Romo will enjoy the 08 season much more then he did the 07 season. Can't believe Jim Johnson of the Eagles (and probably Spagnola of the Giants) really think a QB as good as Romo can be permanently made ineffective. The Eagles will get a rude awakening when they visit Dallas in 2nd game of the season.

Meh.

I think he's talking about how our LB's didn't drop back deep enough in coverage.

i'm pretty sure he's talking about Roy. when he was talking about Roy a few weeks ago and showing the santana moss tds he kept saying "how could he allow the skins fastest player to get behind him".

I expect other teams to say stuff like this about us...they have to be positive about their teams and think they have a chance this time of year. I mean all fans think their team improved in the off-season or learned something that will change things next time around. Whether they did or not is yet to be seen...

And analysts make assumptions and project opinions as facts. Just take it all with a grain of salt.

That makes sense. He was asked about our offensive struggles down the stretch last season, and he responded by saying that he looked at the defense. So it naturally would follow that he'd bring up the second game of the 2005 season.

Hey, at least he got the team right.

Why does Werder always have some type of negative slant?

After Romo busted on Werder's hair-style last season, you can bet it will only continue!
