MI = Michael Irvin
KK = Kevin Kiley
EW = Ed Werder
EW - both team have a lot at stake
EW - Brees was saying that he felt they would play their best and the Cowboys would too and he smirked as to suggest that they will win if that happens.
KK - They are beat up, especially on defense
EW - this has been the case for the past month, beat the patriots, Moss and Brady were done with 5 minutes to go in that game
EW - you not only have to play against the defense but their offense. anytime you dont score, it could be a turning point. much like the rams teams under mike martz, they are so prolific in scoring
EW - Sean Payton has got Gregg Williams who is like him on defense and they come at you when you have the ball and have to deal with the crowd
MI - when you look at them, as a Saints player what would worry you
EW - nothing the cowboys do would concern me. Seems like they have the personell to dominate the time of possesion but i dont thinik it is a concern because the Saints offense is so good
EW - Dallas is a good team but saints have outscored them by 170 points and the Cowboys have not scored more than 24 points in last 6 games
EW - you wouldn't expect the Cowboys to admit defeat, but i think they can beat the Saints but i think the score is going to be lopsided and perceptions about the Cowboys, the lack of leadership etc etc will be reenfored
EW - Sean Payton has a personal interest. Some of the Saints playerss said it is noticiable in practice. A coach on the Saints told me they put a w on that game because they know the coach doesn't want to lose that game. Last time they played they destroyed the Cowboys
KK - Yeah, Parcells was out coached that game
MI - yeah, they threw it to the Fullback everytime
KK - The Saints struggled their last 2 games, any weight to that
EW - Darren Sharper acknowedged that they have to play better but both those games were on the road and they almost lost to a backup QB. If I was Wade Phillips I would point that out to the Cowboys. However, the Saints offense just has not let up.
