i am out of nowhere. but to be fair, i'll try to briefly explain.

it was 9/11 - the twin towers were in flames and eddie lived up there and was a major poster on the forums and a friend of mine. as a fellow cowboy fan, and american, we made a deal that day.

the cowboys go to the superbowl, we meet then.

they rebuild the twin towers, i meet him there.

just a promise i wanna keep for my own reasons.

This is a night to share with everyone in our hearts. Near, far, living, or departed....we can all feel this. It feels amazing.

it's a long time coming. somewhere along the way we learned humility also. i could write a thousand stories but none negative so very few would notice.

just amazing how many things have happened in life since we as fans shared a night like this. how much life has passed, and the kind of life it was.

this is a good night to be sure. but it does make me remember this promise.

I still remember that day when we were back on the old DMN boards. To read what Eddie was telling us all... it was so surreal...

Maybe this will be the year. Maybe it won't, but one thing's for certain. The dream will never die.
