Alabama S Eddie Jackson's broken leg...anyone see it happen? Was it a Theisman break or more of a simple fracture?

That's too bad. Playmaker. Thought he might be a long shot target for RD1 but now maybe a steal in the mid rounds, assuming it wasn't a compound fracture.

This is the type of player the Cowboys will take a chance on. Could a safety combo of him and Byron Jones work? Neither are really the in-the-box/run supporter type but with Jackson's ballhawking skills, I'd love to have two safeties back there who can cover. They move Byron around to different spots anyway.

I would take him in a heart beat. His punt return skills are legit.

I watched the game. Nothing like Theismann. He was returning a kick and a guy came in from the side, tackled him high and spun him around, so I don't know how bad it was. He was walking on it.

Haven't heard any news lately on the injury but I hate it for Eddie Jackson. Kid came back for his senior season to up his draft stock, plays lights on thus far into the season and then this type of situation happens.

1st round talent but would probably go in the 3rd round due to injury. Far as the Cowboys taking a chance on him, I would love to have Eddie on this roster but would rather have Ronnie Harrison in the 2018 draft. Kid has all the tools you'll want roaming in the secondary.

Yeah the talent at Alabama is unbelievable, especially defensively. I'd have to go back to Jimmy's Hurricanes to find something similar.

Jackson though has that Ed Reed ability, where any pick or fumble recovery is a possibility to go back for a TD. He's just so good at picking lanes and swimming through traffic.

Landon Collins has played pretty decent.
They have been kinda got and miss. Collins has done well. Barron failed at Safety. Jackson was awful at the start of his career but has become a very strong CB. Kirkpatrick is still a mystery. But Cincy has been very deep at CB and they though enough of him to pick up his option

Kirpatrick's been coming on.

He is a guy I have my eye on this offseason. With the amount of CBs they have drafted, I think they let him walk. Wont break the bank because he has never broken out.

We liked him in 2012, but that was with Ryan. However if they do like those long athletic CB's he fits

It looked like a simple break but you never know with fractures.

I would love to acquire an extra 3rd and pick him if he is still on the board
