Are there any decent available defensive ends with pass rushing abilities Dallas could bring in to get ready for the late part plus post season play sitting at home now? Would it be worth it to sign one now to give time to get into football shape and be ready for the late season push. Not named Greg Hardy, idiot could have had the world' here.

George Selvie and he was the least scrubby of all the scrubs since we know what he brings.

Hopefully we provide more pressure against a ailing Morgan Moses and Trent Williams replacement this Thursday playing the Commanders. Kirk Cousins looks like a person who is going to get a big contract at the end of the season based on what he has done the first half of the year, he is currently playing on the franchise tag for one year. The boys have no hero's waiting to come in this year unfortunately so we will have to dance with the partners we brought on the Dline. We have Rod Marinelli and will have to depend on him to rally the troops. Having a bend but not break defense certainly makes an entertaining second half. Sean Lee provides so much for this d, if the boys can keep himself straight and on the field we are in the game IMO. The offense should be able to provide some additional 12th man support (scoring earlier) with the easier defenses it will be seeing in the upcoming games, the Vikings will provide the stiffest test for the offense before we get a ten day respite and play the surging New York Giants. The only easy day was yesterday. This is what a playoff run looks like in the NFC east enjoy the journey.

Looks to me as though we'll be compelled to wait until the offseason to see if we can find one in veteran FA. It might be difficult to get a blue-chip DE with us having a late 1st round pick, though. Hopefully, one will turn up as a result of some team making a cost-cutting move.

I would incorporate some delayed LB/DB blitzes instead of having them go to the line of scrimmage and stand there waiting for the snap, which allows the QB and Oline see them and call out the responsibilities.

Not any that can come in and contribute let alone have any kind of impact at all.

We may have to dial up the blitz more often.

I wish Sean Lee was better at shedding blockers at the LOS. He's a freak of nature at hitting the gap on run plays, falling back into coverage, diagnosing play-calls at the line, and closing in on runners in his lanes, in the flat, etc, but he never seems to penetrate the LOS on the very, very few blitzes he's been sent on.

Maybe a small sample size, tho, with Rod's resistance to blitz, and the fact that Lee's more of a coverage LB on the weak side. Love Lee, but we are missing Ro's ability to shed the OL on occasion. Oh well. That purple drank, tho. ******* Ro. :(

And obligatory, thanks for nothing Greg Hardy.

I'm thinking this 2017 draft will be defense heavy from round one on. So no help is forthcoming this season as far as I can tell unless Will McClay has someone on speed dial that I'm not aware of. We need a heavy pass rush to make this team complete. Just not coming this year.

Not there are no decent pass rushers out there waiting in the wings. Cowboys will have to rely on the guys we have to really come on strong over the last part of the season DLaw did that last season he really needs to get it going now. Not trying to dash anyone hope but you will not find quality players on the street right now

Too little, too late! The only thing they can do now is scheme. More blitzes, more stunts to free up the current rushers

we have one last hope - jaylon smith is a good edge rusher

gregory case is interesting - since he is in appeals for the 1-year suspension probably.
not sure on the timing, so with appeals it is possible he gets to play some games.
but appeals would likely be done by January ?
