Good possibility I’m just not bright enough to figure out, but how do we edit a post. I get in a hurry and type incorrectly. I usually am on my IPhone

There’s an Edit link in the post footer. It times out after a time to keep people from going back and changing things when proven wrong, etc, in the course of a long exchange.

What @Idgit said is true.

That said, if you find a typo after the edit period has expired, you can post a reply to your thread asking a moderator to fix it for you and one usually will when/if they see it.

It helps if you say "Moderator" or "MODS" or something like that in bold to catch the staff's attention though.
