EE 60 yard Highlight Multiple Angles

Zeke runs a 4.4. Which I think is fast for a runningback. Whats Dorsett's speed?

If I remember right, out of college Dorsett was 4.25. He slowed over time though.

Zeke is one of those guys who's faster in pads than everybody else is.

Wow 4.25 is plenty fast. Didn't know back then any runningback with that speed. If thats true though. Do you have a link?

I'd have to look it up. I'm sure it would vary from link to link.

The fastest guy ever in pads was Deion. He looked like an uncle running around with 10-year-olds at the annual Thanksgiving family football game.

At the combine, Deion showed up late, walked on to the field, put his cleats on, ran a 4.18, and immediately walked out saying "see you guys at the draft." Hated that guy, but that's a great story.

I got a feeling that that play was designed to go for around 10 yards or close to the first down, the hole was so huge because 2 guys decided to follow old man Witten for some reason and vacated the middle completely.
They followed "Old Man Witten," because they feared Dak's mobility to roll out and hit Witten. That play doesn't work with Romo under Center.

That is fast for a running back, especially at his height and weight.
I can't find an official time for Dorsett in the 40, but I found this excerpt from http://www.encyclopedia.com/people/sports-and-games/sports-biographies/tony-dorsett

At the age of thirty-four, when Dorsett joined the Broncos, he could still run forty yards in 4.3 seconds. According to the Pro Football Hall of Fame's tribute to Dorsett, "[He] was a player who had it all … the swift, smooth strides; the sharp, crisp cuts; the uncanny knack of finding daylight in the chaos along the line of scrimmage. Every time he touched a football, opponents shuddered. He turned small gainers into big gainers and routine plays into touchdowns."

I love me some Zeke, but he was not as smooth or as fast as Tony Dorsett - the reason I'm a Cowboys fan to this day after growing up a Commanders fan.

People get scared to anoint. I don't have that problem. He's got Hall of Fame talent.

Tony Dorsett - Emmitt Smith - Ezekiel Elliott

The holy trinity of Cowboys running backs.

The other great running back, Hershal Walker, became the sacrificial lamb that launched a dynasty.
I just don't want to forget Walker.
