Hey, another Zeke thread! Sorry gentlemen, but I want to throw this out there as a legit question.
There’s no doubt that the team isn’t as good without Zeke, but regardless, we’re losing him for 6 weeks. Let’s say, for the sake of argument, we go 4-2 during that stretch - entirely possible.
That would put us at 9-5 headed into two games with Seattle and Philly, then presumably on to the playoffs.
My question is whether you think the 6 games of downtime will be a good or a bad thing for Zeke when he returns?
Zeke has been carrying the workload, so entering the playoffs with fresh legs could be a coup d’etat, provided the team stays in playoff contention during that time.
On the downside, he could get out of shape, out of rhythm and need time to get back into the swing of things.
So what say you? Will Zeke be back fresh and punish the league or will the downtime have a negative impact?
