All 3 deals need done asap. It's not the Jerry way though.

The Jones clan probably left the stadium yesterday and headed straight for the yacht.

I kinda hate how this is presented. It’s presented as just sign them as if it’s madden and ignoring that it takes two to tango and always has. They can offer, but they can’t make anyone sign anything they don’t want to.

Dont waste time posturing. Get Micah done before the new League year starts in March. Do not drag it out!

DaRon and Tyler can get done in training camp or during the season. But, no posturing or dragging it out. Get the deals done.
Agreed, target your star players early. Micah is the most expensive on 5th year tag and your best defender, I would do Bland next bc you dont have a 5th year protection, then I would do Smiths bc this is just his 4th year upcoming, you got some wiggle room with time.

Get Micah done asap, but they'll drag it out.
Get Bland done maybe in TC because you don't want him to hit FA in '26.
Tyler has two more years on his contract (including 5th year option), so no rush on his deal.
.
Diggs can NOT be cut because of his injury.

Can someone explain to me why Jerry waits so long to get these deals done? The longer he waits, the more it costs so the wise move it to deal early.

Micah has signalled he is not going to hold up the team. He is not demanding record money. He wants to be in Dallas so make it happen now and get it out of the way.

I might wait on Bland though. He hardly played in 2024 and we don't know if he can repeat his 2023 season. I would not want to give him big money only to find out he is not the same player anymore.

Tyler Smith is a no brainer. He has to be signed long term.

Then again, it is also up to the players and their agents too, right? They may not want to sign. They may want to go into free agency to maximize their contracts.
