Eight teams with six or seven prime-time games

This is why the results on the field aren't a priority for Jerry. He keeps winning the lottery whether they win or lose. And for the past 30 years it's been a whole lot of losing.
 
If we weren't so good back in the 90s etc, we would be on TV more!! :laugh:
 
Im surprised Pittsburgh isn't on the list. They've always been media darlings. I guess Seattle nudged them off with their recent success. Everyone wants to see the super bowl champs on tv. I just hope maybe Denver can push patty mahomes and killa trav off thier perch. Im over Andy's boys and their insufferable fan base here in kc.
 
The league must think the Packers are going to be compelling. I'm not really feeling it .... but I also haven't studied their offseason.

They have done basically zilch since stomping this team in the playoffs. With Lions & Bears in the division, would seem an uphill battle for them.

Jerry is RICH. He has more money than he can ever spend. Jerry is an absolute ROCK STAR, regardless of what all of you in here try to say. I go to actual games. Fans love him. Fans from the other teams LOVE him, because they love to hate him. When Jerry shows his face, the people flock to him.

Jerry owns the most visible, popular, biggest draw in all of American sports, and it isnt even close. Who is second?

So, no matter what Jerry does or doesnt do, his team is and will remain the most talked about and watched team in the NFL... no matter what. Win or lose they are making a ton of money.
The one thing he doesnt have. The one thing he really wants is a SB.

People involved in pro sports all have huge egos. Hell, I had a huge ego coaching HS and club sports, I was better than you and I wanted to make sure you knew it. You dont think that doesnt drive Jerry, Stephen, McClay, Scottenheimer and everyone else involved with the team dont want to win more than anything else? If you actually believe that Jerry is just content and happy as can be, I think you just paint a narrative in your head that can coincide with dislike of the man.

Hate the man, wish him ill will... but at least be honest with yourself.

what exactly is the great marketing Jerry is doing? In the past 4 or 5 years, what is the thing Jerry has done that is him playing chess and the rest of the teams are playing checkers when it comes ot marketing their teams?

You know that has zero to do with it the Cowboys appeal is still there or they wouldn't be on prime time It's not just the star from the past it's not the Super Bowl wins or the heyday it literally is two sides of the coin there's a lot of Cowboys fans out there that's why they're called America's Team That's why it has high viewership high ratings and that is why there isn't a day goes by where there's some social media page and even ESPN is somehow finds one segment to talk about the Cowboys for no reason whatsoever..

The other side of the coin they created a lot of enemies out there because they were so good in the past that a lot of people watch hoping to see them lose one way or the other they're one of the highest rated viewership teams in the NFL every single year..

There have been cowboy games that are just regular old regular season games that go up against other leagues like the NBA or NHL etcetera that are in the playoffs and the Cowboys ratings are higher for a regular season game that day than those games head to head the Cowboys still win that is why they get all those games..

. If it was just because of recent success wouldn't New England be up on that chart higher up seem like they're getting less love than they feel they earned..

But think about it New England all those Super Bowls were pretty recent It doesn't matter cowboys still get higher ratings that's how it works you get mentioned and you get more prime time and you get on more shows when your viewership is high..

It would be now, that's every year...

To be honest I hate it 6 night games Too many long stretches without a break look as a fan I wouldn't care if there were 17 straight noon games by having to play on the holidays all the time I mean that's family time and you get stressed out watching games I don't like it I don't like staying up late and watching games for the same reason get you wound up or stressed out and it's hard to sleep win or lose it's hard to sleep for me..


Where's the Cowboys did not get all these prime time games I think it it it's not a good thing especially if you look at this year's schedule is brutal with all the travel and all these games with two stretches every year Oh playing three games in 12 days tell me what other teams do that and they're not even get those rare ones where they're getting that long break after it's just brutal...

Well that's always been the Dallas Cowboys they're America's team and when they're constantly getting high viewership ratings even head to head from regular season games in the NFL versus playoff games and other leagues they are winning I mean there's playoff games going on in other sports and the Cowboys still get higher viewership that day or that evening..

I don't like it but I think people don't realize that this is not living off the fumes from the 90s Super Bowl wins or the 70s this is not because of that it's because they regularly get the highest ratings and the NFL is actually bleeding the Cowboys to make sure they have them and as many prime time games and as many as a big match ups as possible because that buttering their bread..

Never liked it I mean we haven't been winning lately and I don't like staying up late watching games I don't like it Christmas and Thanksgiving having to split my focus from family to football and staying up late and stressed out it affects my sleep..

I hate it but it's part of it that is why the Cowboys will forever be at the top when it comes to primetime games.. You said it it's not all love 70% of it are Cowboys fans but that other 30% tunes in to hope that they lose..

That is that old term that people say that the Cowboys always get the best from everyone of their opponents that's the same thing they want to beat the Cowboys when they look at the schedule they mark where the Cowboys are and they cannot wait for that game..

So yeah I feel like it's a curse I don't feel like we deserve all this and I don't really like all the late games and the odd games holidays and what not Fridays Wednesdays a bunch of night games I mean this it gets old after a while..

I think GB will take a step back.
GB probably got the games for the Micah Parsons draw. Even since he is not on Dallas anymore, it still influences things. :laugh:
