He’s correct under the rule at the time it wasn’t a catch, which is why the call on the field was overturned in replay. The rule has since been changed, and it would now be a catch. I’m certainly not going to waste my time arguing it again. It was a horrible rule and that play led to the rule being changed.Marcus Rock says it was not a catch due to proper interpretation of the rule at the time
I laugh at that; you look at all the other catches in other games rule OK and they were often MUCH MORE QUESTIONABLE than this
The officials blew the call; and the League admitted it years later
Romo played well, but our defense played like trash in the second half. Aaron Rodgers beat us hopping around on one leg.By far our best chance to win a Super Bowl
Romo played like a top-2 QB that year
MVP caliber actually but you just knew they were going to give it to Rodgers.By far our best chance to win a Super Bowl

wasn't a drop but we did lose the game, and with how bad the defense was we probably would have still lost the game had the refs not screwed usIT WAS A DROP WE LOST THE GAME TIME TO MOVE ON!!
You said this perfectly. My fandom was forever changed after that play.MVP caliber actually but you just knew they were going to give it to Rodgers.
I cannot explain why but my fandom changed forever that day. I was never the nervous wreck, depressed, joyous, rabid fan I was my entire life after that game. Maybe I just finally matured, maybe it's Jerry, the league, or maybe something else I'm not aware of but it's just not the same.
Wow, just the other day you were saying you were a "new poster" asking if I always defend the refs. Today you know my years of posting history here being "new" and all. That's kinda funny.Marcus Rock says it was not a catch due to proper interpretation of the rule at the time

He did the right thing the refs are morons thinking reaching for the pylon isn't a football move...he blew it, by reaching. If he had caught it, and just went down at the one. History might be different.
