Hate to have that happen......Hope he gets well quickly and doesn't affect his career too much. Hopefully, he can come back from this.

:hammer:

I was looking forward to seeing how he'd do this year as a starter. That's too bad.

They do have Elvis Durmevil (sp?) though. Pressure shouldn't be a problem for them, but run D probably will be.

Damn if that isn't ironic. Not only does it happen on a return trip to Texas Stadium, but it comes as his old NC teammate Ellis and his Achilles are still such a story.

On a side note, didn't see any of the DFW or San Antonio media take the opportunity to do a nice Ellis/Ekuban profile this past week. Moot point now.

Was he the Nigerian nightmare or the piranha from Ghana? Can't remember. At any rate, I hate it as well. Hope he has a full recovery.

Isn't Ekuban in his 30's?

Why does Shanahan continue to sign all these ageing DLs?(that are injury prone to boot)

I thought early reports was a strained achilles tendon? I hope he's going to be OK when all is said and done.

That's tough. That's always the scariest, worst part of preseason.

The Broncos can still come with Engleberger, Dumervile, Moss, and Crowder. They might even decide to dust the cobwebs off of Kenard Lang again.

Ek probably turned 30 this year, assuming he was 22 when he came out of college in 1999.

Broncos actually signed him last year to a modest free agent deal.

Horrible. Absolutely heartbreaking.

I always liked EB. Of all the highly touted defensive ends who never reached their potential under Campo and Zimmer, Ekuban was my favorite.

Dang it, I don't like injuries to any player regardless of teams... Especially tough to swallow when it happens to a Dallas player!

I called him Ekubust while he was here. Doesn't mean I want to see him injured. Hate this news if true.
