Soooooooo excited.

However I really would have liked to see it continue with the Thalmor storyline from Skyrim

I havnt seen an official announcement from Bethesda and judging by some of the comments a lot people think this is fake. The would however fall in line with approx. 5 year release time for each game. I thought Oblivion was OK , Skyrim was better but Morrowind was the most interesting to me.

Oblivion was acceptable. Morrowind and Skyrim were my favorites. Skyrim with all the expansions was amazing. Dragonborn questline was my favorite in the whole series.

One thing I didn't like about Skyrim was a few of the questlines were weak. Theives Guild, Dark Brotherhood, Dawnguard and Dragonborn were great. But the Companions, College of Winterhold and Bards College were pretty weak and pointless ( outside of turning into a werewolve of course)

The above comment is incorrect. Their first title Elder scrolls Arena was released 20 year ago not 10.

Oblivion was poorly done, Morrowind tops, and Skyrim pretty decent. As always, the mod scene really juiced up all the games tremendously, fixing tons of parts of the game, and allowing you to slant it more towards your playstyle. The Bethesda stuff is far better on PC, due to the tireless efforts of the modders.

This well has been poisoned. With the popular fallout hoax a year ago, bethesda says to ignore everything unless it comes from them officially. The sources for this are not official so I do not believe.

I think fallout is what's being developed. They didn't buy the rights to fallout for just one game return. Too long a wait between games probably loses fans/moneys from the first game's success.

They have to be developing a new ES. Skyrim was 2011 and they usually drop one every 5 years
