Anyone get this yet? What are your thoughts?

- Obviously these server issues are ridiculous. I gotta wait about 10 minutes every time I gotta log in.

-The game looks great. Im In Ebonheart so its cool to quest through Morrowind again after over a decade. Im still a few level from being able to go to Cyrodiil. I poked my head in the Rift in Skyrim just for kicks and gigs

- I haven't gotten too into questing yet, mostly exploring, but like any Elder Scrolls game you can't walk 15 feet without aquiring 15 things you have to do

I don't play many games, but the latest game I got is Elite: Dangerous.

What do you think of it so far? I want to get it too, it went on sale recently but it still is $53. Did you get a HOTAS?

What's the combat like? The commercials on Hulu look tight,

Much better then Skyrim. Still somewhat generic and it seems they borrowed a bit from Diablo 3, but its an improvement.

Ive only unlocked a few things so far so its hard to say

I have a Logitech Extreme 3D joystick, but it wasn't working. I find the keyboard and mouse quite easy to use though. The hard part is actually docking, but once you learn to do it. It's not that hard.

It's pretty cool. The frame shift (see warp) draft is a pain to use trying to stop at space stations, but that too gets easier when you learn a few tricks.

The game is cool, but the one thing I don't like about it is how much time you spend traveling some times. If you are 100,000 light seconds from something (meaning you're in a system) all you can do is supercruise to it rather than warp. That can take upwards of 5 minutes just sitting there doing next to nothing but waiting to arrive. The good thing is most of the time you aren't 100,000LS from where you want to go. Though it can still talk a few minutes to get there.

Overall, I like the game though. I just don't get to play it much. Usually maybe once a week.

ESO came out years ago.. lol.

It was decent. More of a single player RPG experience than an MMO. The story was good, the pvp was useless but enjoyable I guess. Overall fun game with little replay value. Nothing to do at the high end. Gear is attained too quickly, everything is just easy. Had fun with it for a while though.

The last MMORPG I played was Everquest, when it was new.

I waited for it to come out on console, and I think alot of people. Reviews of the PC version were bad and I think alot of people waited to see if they made improvements for console.

I agree with you in that it's a fun game, but I dont think ES really works as an MMORPG. There is a quaint charm to the ES games that seems completely lost in an MMORPG
