I will tell you a strange study I read some 20+ years ago...
8% of adult men use electric razors... 70% of adult men with leukemia use/used electric razors. I wish I could find that study.
The premise was that the forcing of the metal into the skin from the rotating blades was entering the bloodstream and causing leukemia. Leukemia was been linked to metals in the blood stream.
Just sayin'...
That being said, I did use a Norelco shaver for a couple of years. It will take some time for your face to get used to it, but it WILL offer a close shave once you get used to it. I also used a stick powder as a pre-shave...
I now use a brush and shaving soap with a safety razor in the shower. I use only Feather brand blades as they are incredibly sharp. Great shave and a tribute to old school...
