We need to talk about replacing ZEKE!!!!! He has no more juice. Any middle round running backs we can take a flyer on. Draftnicks get to work!!!!!

Hilarious, you wanna replace Zeke (which I’m not opposed to if the money is right), but don’t wanna replace Jaylon.

We need to get out of contracts for Zeke and Jaylon.

RB is mostly about OL play and scheme. We shouldn't have have drafted Zeke that early and we definitely shouldn't have given him a monster extension. Jerry being Jerry.

I said we need to draft two speed linebackers between the 4th and 5th rounds for Jaylon and LVE. I thought maybe we would only have to worry about a swing tackle on offense but Zeke’s burst in concerning.

The extensions were huge mistakes. The Joneses was trying send a message to Dak I guess.

I agree that the contract was a mistake and Zeke hasn’t been good this year. But their isn’t a running back in the NFL that would have success running behind this offensive line. We are down out top three tackles, Martin has missed time, the rookie center who has looked decent gets hurt in warm ups and the only consistent member Williams is average at best. Can’t trade or cut him anyway because of the contract. Think things will be different next year running behind a healthy offensive line. HOPE!

An elephant in the room is something obvious nobody is willing to talk about. Some of us have been talking about Zeke being an inefficient use of limited resources since before he was drafted.

Week 1 and 2 - Zeke looked good to borderline great. He had a burst that had been missing.

He got shut down in Seattle and wasn't used much in Cleveland. Then Dak got hurt and the entire team folded.

Get a healthy QB and Oline back next season and see what you get.

He's still 7th in rushing with a patch work Oline. Spending draft picks on a RB this coming draft wouldn't be the best use. Your stuck with him at least 1 more year before you can think about cutting him, and I'd put money that he'll be back in top form next season. Top 5ish

Were struck with Zeek and Jaylon for two years

Technically you can cut Smith this offseason. It's a breakeven transaction, I believe. If he's on the roster 5 days into the 2021 league year his base salary for 2021 becomes guaranteed.

He looked great the first two weeks? Your definition of great seems different than mine.

We don’t need to waste draft picks on a running back. We have Pollard under contract through 2022. No one is trading for Elliott.

Yeah Zeke has looked bad, but how about we spend draft picks on some parts of the team (secondary, LB, OL) that are really hindering us instead.

Elephant in the room isn't Zeke production, Its the absence of Bill Callahan

Bill had these O lineman top of their respective categories and no success after he departed.

Connor Williams getting manhandled every week and Terrance Steele looking like he has skates instead of cleats. How in the world you expect Zeke to be productive on a consistent basis with a stacked box of 8 or 9 guys knowing you're running the ball on first down.

Go back and look at the tape - he looked quicker and more powerful than what he was the previous year. Many commented on the same during the game

There both staying no one is gonna trade for them and u can't cut them. Move on

You can't cut him until at least after next year so I think that talk should be put to rest. This isn't Fantasy Football. Zeke and Jaylon will be Dallas Cowboys at least until next year. I do believe Jaylon has wore out his BRAND here and he will not be a Dallas forever. You can just see it. Zeke still can and his part of the Cowboys for the future.....I don't see JJ giving up on him. I do wish that the other RB are giving a chance. I don't know what it is ...with Dallas younger players......someobdy just doesn't like playing them. I don't know if it a coaching thing or a owner thing.

Didn’t Jerry say something about drafting Clyde Edwards-Helaire in the second round. Lots of fans glossed over it but maybe Jerry noticed something with Zeke.
