Eli manning not in HOF either

jim plunkett needs to be in before Eli, IMO
It's an interesting discussion for sure.

All-time era-adjusted QB rating
  • Eli--103rd
  • Plunkett--102nd
  • (for context, Staubach is #3)
All-time era-adjusted Playoff Rating
  • Eli--45th
  • Plunkett--12th....whoa
  • (again, Staubach 3rd, Aikman 15th, Romo 27th)

Eli was just not that great in the regular season...was always either league leader in interceptions or close to it.

Plunket actually has more picks than TDs in his career....lol. But really was great in the playoffs,

But both have two rings and led teams to 8 playoff wins--which is huge.
Though Manning is also the all time leader of playoff one and dones (4).

But he has those rings and is a Manning
he should not be in but he probably will be

Eli was an average QB but he elevated his play when it counted in 2 playoff runs to get 2 rings in 4 years. He has as many of those as Peyton and actually played better in his 2 runs than Peyton did in his 2. Peyton was a shell of his former self when they won in 2015. That was all defense by then. Eli will get in at some point.

Not sure where you are getting your numbers. Here is the all time one and done ranking.

1. Peyton Manning - 9
2. Big Ben - 6
3-6. Rodgers, Montana, Moon, Eli - 4
7. Brady, Favre, Brees, Marino, Elway, Rivers - 3

Pretty impressive list of QBs. Most are in the HOF.

so about 7 games makes him a HOF
what a joke

Eli was a mediocre quarterback but he will get in thanks to being the only quarterback to defeat Brady twice in the Superbowl

I always knew whether we would beat the Giants or not based on whether we made Eli move. Give Eli time and space and he is as good anybody. Make him move or be uncomfortable and he is very average.
