Eli Manning's Return

The storyline of this game back definitely favors the giants. They play for Eili and because the coach they didn’t like got fired. Of course we should whip them...we’ll see how it goes. See if Red earns his paycheck

Yep, this is their "Katrina".

Why is this Eli return turning into a big deal. The guy sat one game. Not like he's coming back from a lengthy absence to lead the Giants back to glory.

Maybe the bigger deal for the Giants team is that McAdoo was fired. Will be interesting to see how they play for Spagnuolo.

How great would it be for him to get sacked 5 or 6 times and throw 3 or 4 picks!!!! Rod needs to send the house!!
What drama we shall witness! Like a late 15th century opera/parable about falling in battle. "I die for my Provence!"

At the end of the day, the Giants are still 2-9 and beat to hell with no OL and no WRs. And we're as healthy as we've been all season.

Sheppard played Sunday and roger Lewis is a pretty decent player.

The line is hurt and they don’t run the ball well.

The issue this week is do they go outside what they have done with McAdoo in charge of the offense? Is Dallas going into a game blind here since they could run some stuff they haven’t all year?

At the end of the day there is no excuse for this team to lose this game and if they do then in a few weeks the whole staff should be fired. Having said that I am concerned about our banged up tackles playing Pierre Paul and Vernon. Harrison will be difficult to deal with also.

Their offensive line should get the giants beat this Sunday, if it doesn’t then our season is over and hopefully this entire staff will be changed in January.

What happens happens, but this is a team ripe for the taking. We'll take their best shot, whatever that is, early and see if we can roll them.

Harrison has missed practice this week with an elbow. Shepard was on a bike Monday with a hamstring. Jenkins is on IR. They've got multiple injuries in their LB corps. I'm sure they're going to be fired up, but they're overmatched right now. As quickly as Manning is going to have to get rid of the ball, there's only so much he'll be able to do with the bounce he's going to get. We just need to tackle well and we ought to be ok in this one. And that OL can't block in space as it is. With Lee back and finally playing with Hitchens, we ought to be able to tackle.

I'm not scared of a guy who has averaged 18th in the league in passer rating (This is ignoring his rookie year where he didn't have enough attempts to qualify and was 77th - others in there also didn't qualify). I'm not scared of a guy with an 83.8 career rating who has led the league with over 20 interceptions three times during his career.

I am afraid of the Cowboys' propensity to shoot themselves in the foot and be dumb.
