I remember reading this past offseason on the official Giants forum how Eli had turned a corner in his career and was now an elite QB, destined to compete for the third Super Bowl ring in his family. One of the key indicators was his TD to Int ratio, as I remember reading.

For the second time in as many weeks, I've heard the commentators slobbering over the same thing, his increasing TD to Int ratio. Not so much at the end of this game tonight, but earlier in the broadcast or in the pregame.

Did I fall off the turnip truck yesterday or did Manning The Lesser not have a 10 to 8 ratio coming into our first game? Now he's sitting at 21 to 16, and on pace to throw more interceptions than he has the last two seasons combined. He's averaging an interception every 22 attempts.

Just found it odd that the mediots were making a point of how well he was doing, when in fact, he's not.

He is incredibly overrated. He's not bad, but he is not top 10 by any means. He has blown countless games throughout his career. He has never been accurate or mobile. His ratings have been mediocre. As far as being some "clutch playoff guy", he was "1 and done" 4 of 5 playoff appearances with some terrible performances. His TEAM (esp the D) pulled a miracle out of their butts in '07 when they had more fluke plays occur during their run than I've ever seen in one postseason for a team and he's a "top QB". RIDICULOUS. He's above-average. Even when they had the '07 fluke he led THE ENTIRE NFL in turnovers. He's on pace to possibly do that again so they'll probably win another...Ugggghhh..

Along with the INTs it was also funny to see him, once again, dive head first and fumble the ball again.

If I remember correctly he did the exact same thing last year, against the Eagles, as he did last night.

Yes, Eli. The ground can cause a fumble if no one touches you first.

That was ridiculous. Could you imagine the howling if Romo did that?

Doesn't matter now. The Giants called me this morning and asked if I could play receiver now that Nicks is out. It is Manningham and whoever is available the next 2 or 3 weeks.

This season is done for the Giants.

Eli is the most overrated player, not Romo.

Overrated by who? I never hear him mentioned as one of the great QB's and he does have a ring.

I don't see how the guy is overrated, even by Giants fans and I live in NY.

He is what he is, but overrated? By who?
