I know a lot of people, fans, that have zero problem with Eli, friends of mine, that don't understand why I do.

I remember the day the Chargers drafted Eli, and I really knew nothing about him at that time, but I learned something about his true character at that time.

At that moment when he walked up on stage and I believe Tags put the Charger cap on his head.

I remember looking at a sulking grown man that just got drafted in the first round display a disgusted look on his face.

I remember the camera man panning to Archie sitting front row, and watching Archie place the phone call,, the whole time Eli was staring at daddy,,, please fix this for me.

Well that phone call did fix it, moments later he was traded to the Giants for Rivers... that was monumental collusion if you ask me,, but was completely ignored at that time, and the golden boy gets another pass now as well.

The only thing that really keeps me hanging on as a fan of the NFL, of the game, is hoping that DLaw can plant baby boys head into the turf a few times.

I want to see that disgusted look again, as a Cowboys fan, I must admit,, watching Eli sulk is addictive at this point,,, yes I may need help,, no I do not like Eli.

I want Eli to experience some Romo pain in a big way,,, sorry if that sounds extreme, but Eli is not respected in my house.

I think to some extent, you are preaching to the choir here. When I saw those three little letters as the title to a thread, I felt disgust. I clicked anyway and decided if it was an adoration thread to get out of it as quickly as possible. Since it's not and the sentiments are similar to mine, I'll gladly join in and cheer you on. Conspiracy theories are falling out of favor here, but if Eli were a Cowboy (yes, I almost threw up) Goodell would have him hanging by his toenails. That is another source of frustration and animosity towards both.

:lmao: once you learn a bit more about your 'fellows' here on the forum ,you would've known this thread wouldn't have been an Eli lovefest just by the O.P.'s user handle:starspin:

You can never be too careful. We've got Eagles and Giants fans storming the gates here. Commanders fans hate us just the right amount not to bother us.

:lmao:no doubt! Heck,I've probably inadvertently threw a 'like' on a Eagles fan at one time or another around here & although I truly am ashamed of my actions,I click on their casing-liner & check out their post history anymore, I'll seldom throw them in the ignore pit though, unless I'm in an extra foul mood on that day:lmao:

I can tell you were raised right. :)

Rivers was the much better QB than Eli...imo.
But Eli got in the right situation and had 2 very nice playoff runs out 6 tries. It worked out great for him.
Too bad for Rivers, as he would have at least two SBs with the Giants if he had ended up there.

Isn't SD a dream destination? Can't ask for a better situation? 15 years in Southern California. I didn't understand that whole situation? He definitely seemed like a spoiled child at the time of that decision. Even though it did work out for him.

His longevity has padded his career yardage numbers. He is barely a 60 percent passer for a 15 year career. At one time only did I ever consider him top 5. His fluke 2011 year. The other 15 years he has not been top 5 nor barely top 10. He is the recipient of 2 of the flukiest SB MVPS and trophies in history. His career is based off 2 passes, the SB Tyree helmet hail mary and his once in a lifetime accurate Manningham heave in the other SB.

He can't throw a shallow cross to any open receiver to save his life. He is either, high, behind or high AND behind. He hangs receivers out to dry and has caused several injuries. I despise him and think he is one of the most over rated athletes in the history of sports.

Everything he has is based on durability. Everything, I say again, everything is "Longevity Stats"

He's garbage. Can't stand him.

I despise Eli Manning and this is one of the primary reasons why.

If Eli had stayed with the Chargers, Roethlisberger would have been a NY Giant.
