Very well written piece, don't find those too often nowadays, unfortunately. Not a single sack, hit, or hurry allowed in 103 plays??? That right there my friends is why we made the pick. This guy is gonna keep Tony off the turf.

Yep. They had to use Rod Smith back there last season to help in pass-protection. Elliott is a guy that never has to come off the field. However, I think it's important that Dallas finds a suitable backup to help Elliott. I think the Morris vs McFadden battle will be an interesting one this training camp.

Yeah youd trade the proven guy over the not proven guy. Lets give these guys a medal!

You got that backwards.
I was the biggest Gurley proponent in that draft. I knew before Gurley played a single down in the NFL he was going to be a beast. I just didn't harp on it that much because I knew the Cowboys had absolutely no shot of getting him.
Elliott may not have played a single down yet but he will be elite and worth the 4th pick.

It was his first day of doing those drills... but my goodness, he didn't look good.

Henry sure isn't nimble, that's for sure. He will run over some guys but if you get to him before he gets up a head of steam, he's going down.

Just watching his game tape vs Elliott's game tape, there is no comparison, IMO. That may just be me though.
Re-watch the national game against Clemson and you will see all you need to about Henry's footwork. Yikes.

Elliott is hands down the most complete back to come out in a while. He may not have the upside as a pure runner that Gurley had last year, but his overall game is incomparable.

Sounds like the Emmitt vs Sanders comparisons :)
