CHAMPIONSHIP!

It's that intelligence that IMO is huge for the Cowboys. Pass protection is a big deal and dumb backs fail at it. This kid is quite good and can get much better.

That's nice to see that he's got a pretty good head on his shoulders as well to go with his talent.

I wonder who will have a better career. Elliott or Paul Perkins. It will be interesting. IMO

Love smart players. Talent is great, but brains and talent...priceless.

I read a report somewhere about Elliott. It said he knows the game thoroughly and would come to the sidelines and tell the coaches the defensive scheme and how they should counter it.

But you don't have to tell me. When I saw EE run roughshod over the Bama defense, then follow it up with 200 yards in the National Championship Game, I was like , "I hope we can get him."

And we've got him. :D

I'll leave others to whine about the value of a running back and why running backs shouldn't be chosen high in the draft.

My guess is that the first time EZE rolls off 150 yards (hopefully game one against the Giants), this forum will say that he was the steal of the draft.
