"Sorry pup, but "fine" isnt good enough for us higher standard, real Cowboy fans. If you arent troubled with the way things are going, then you simply dont care enough."

That's how you first addressed me personally.

How did you feel react during 2014? During the win streak?

Losing 2 of the top 5 players at their position for essentially the whole year had an impact on our season. We were 3-1 with Romo starting. We picked up a pretty good RB to go along with the best line in football. Many experts predict we will have a good season. You'd rather hedge your bet and take the easy way out. "We no good" "Jerry is a meany" and other whiney rants. Then when we win you can be pleasantly surprised and I guess happy. It's weak. Really weak. And since you like to look things up look up the definition of "fan". By definition those that support their team more are better fans. That's all I said and it hurt your little precious sensitive feelings. It's just a fact by definition. I'm a better fan. A reasonable person could see almost anyone is a better fan than you. By definition.

As for your stupid part of speech reference I already addressed it and you were wrong like you are about your crybaby stance against "your team".

Try to enjoy the season without your whining and see if it works for you. :flagwave:

I knocked you out of the park on the speech thing. You got tossed for a loss there.

As far as the 2014 season I was loving it. We finally started pounding the rock and it worked just like I knew it would with Romo and the offense. But I also knew that no way we would get far in the playoffs with that defense. Jerry kicking Garrett to the curb with the offense and the play calling was ANOTHER thing I had been praying that happened. AGAIN working out as I though it might.

But any time you want to show me where I said we wouldn't win this year, be my guest.

Maybe you should just let the adults talk for a while. Your opinion has pretty much been stated. Nothing matters to you at all, were just going to have a great season. Noted.

Truth is that Elliott will be back in two or three days like it never happened so there just isn't a lot to talk about here.
37.1 percent of running backs that have a soft tissue injury in preseason end up missing at least one week in the regular season with the same injury...

In English, adverbs of manner (answering the question how?) are often formed by adding -ly to adjectives. For example, great yields greatly, and beautiful yields beautifully.

I simply described the Cowboys as fine. You took exception, because you whine about most things, and said my adjective wasn't satisfying to how good you want your team to be described. I then supplied you with synonyms and a definition that told you it was definitely good enough so you changed your silly tactic. So you looked up some grammar stuff that you didn't understand and misinterpreted it.

  • ADVERB: These modify several things: verbs, adjectives, or other adverbs. Adverbs are often made from adjectives (careful -- carefully). They answer these questions about an action: where? when? why? how? in what way? how much? EX: tomorrow, next, quietly, honorably, very.
  • ADJECTIVE: These describe or modify nouns. EX: slow, quiet, useful, blue, much.

You also didn't address how by definition I'm a better fan. Acknowledge it and bow to me.

What a load of nonsense. You did NOT describe the Cowboys as "fine"...............you said "they will BE fine"

Who the heck describes a football team as being "fine"? LOL

Look at that fine football team? Give me a break.

you were the cat that started trying to throw out the dictionary like he was all studious. If blew up on you. Lets move on.

This is the sentence-pay attention CowboyToy I'm going to help you.

"Zeke will be fine and so will my team-The Cowboys."

Your whole exclamation about how great you showed me or whatever nonsense you said seems really dumb. First attacking someone for using fine and not knowing the definition. Then looking up some nonsense that you didn't or couldn't understand and applying it completely wrong as a critique for grammar on an Internet forum--and being completely incorrect. Followed by not even being able to read the original sentence correctly that you critiqued. It was only 10 words. Focus!!

Go back and read and try to learn. Let me know when you've completed your task and I'll accept your apology. Don't try to cheat and get someone to read it for and explain it either. You're only cheating yourself.

Zeke will be fine and so will my team-The Cowboys.

2014 wasn't an anomaly despite what many of the weaker, lesser fans think. It was the culmination of the changing of most of our roster into a younger team capable of being a throwback power running team.

We lost 4 key players. One was possibly a bad calculation-Murray and three were to essentially season ending injuries. Anyone that doesn't understand losing one of the best players at the most important position in the sport will have a very negative affect on winning is only revealing themselves in a couple of different ways that is obvious to others.

As for letting Murray go I feel it was the right decision for the future of my team and as bad as last year was it may have helped land us exactly what we needed to get 6.

Wait!?!? " I blew up on you"??? You were completely wrong. You said fine was an adverb in that sentence.
Maybe now you can try to change your attach tactic for the third time after being shown who is the Boss.
This must be embarrassing for you. :)

I'm still waiting for you to address how I'm a better fan by definition. Do you need me to look it up and give you another formal definition?

Just look at the definition I provided for your crybaby brain. Can't read the bigger words?

Here's some synonyms that were provided for fine
Great, exceptional, first class, outstanding, SUPREME. Maybe you should've said super duper?

Now it's up to you to be a big boy and look the words up so you can understand. I can't do everything for you. :)

A perfect example of why I don't frequent this board much anymore!

Im here to talk football buddy, not stupidity. I was over that dumb conversation a few days ago.

Look if you meant "FINE" as you think the team will be all world then it looks like your standards are where they should be congrats.

But now I have an issue with you analysis capabilities. Because if you think the Cowboys are going to be "second to none" or "incredible" ect....ect.... then you are way off base.

Either way its your opinion and you are entitled to it. Have a great day.

The only thing that is embarrassing for me is the Cowboys organization. :)

I'm not wrong about him, he has had a tendency throughout his career to give games away. When he does it, I criticize him, when he doesn't, I don't, it's really quite simple. But hey, if it make you sleep better at night, just keep trolling.

You've always been the Grand Poobah of the Tony Romo hate club. Anytime I run across someone like you I immediately dismiss because it shows you know absolutely nothing about football.
