Did Henry mail it in since his last contract? Zeke has abandoned the stiff arm, hurdle, wiggle and the "try no to get tackled" moves. "Hello sideline my good friend. I've come to visit you again..."

If somebody knew nothing more than these stats they would think Zeke and Henry were similarly productive, but the problem is Zeke's stats are based on a better start to his career, but the last 3-4 years, including this year. Henry has very notably been the more productive RB. Henry is clearly the better player today.

they have the exact same number of games played because henry lost half a season due to injury. and he has less carries.
Yeah but that was Zeke at his fresh legs. Henry started off with Demarco. Zeke was a lead horse. Those were his prime years as a running back.

Does anyone really believe Zeke can keep pace with Henry going forward? (Some of you act as though we should be indifferent between a guy who was great early and a guy who has been great in recent years.)

Do you believe Henry can keep pace with what he is doing now going forward. He got hurt and missed 8 games last year. He has been dinged up a large part of this year. Father Time is undefeated brother. All those totes are taking their toll on him as well. He has 7 games under 4 ypc this season and 4 games under 3 ypc. He is piling up big numbers because of volume these days. You know the same way some argue that Zeke was only among the league leaders in yards because of volume. Why does that same argument not apply to Henry? I mean he's not among the leaders in ypc either. Yes he will break off a long one from time to time in the 4th quarter after pounding on a defense all game long. Zeke doesn't get to do that anymore. Henry has 9 games of 20 or more carries .. Zeke has one. It is what it is.. I will never hold it against Zeke that the Cowboys stopped giving him the rock. Instead I will commend him for accepting the change of his role graciously and doing everything he could to contribute in other ways..
