Elliott vs playoff RBs

There is no question Elliott is a very good RB but is his talent going to waste and should Dallas draft another RB to rotate with him?
Watching all the playoff games I see teams constantly rotating the RBs to keep them fresh so they always have that burst in their legs and run hard EVERY play. An awful lot of these RBs are catching passes and having big gains. Dallas needs to find a way to get zeke the ball in space and stop using him as a constant battering ram in the middle. They also need to find another RB to rotate with Zeke.
Garrett needs to look film of all these teams in the playoffs and get some ideas on how to be creative with their RBs. Dak is not a QB thats gonna pick apart a secondary so the short passing game is going to be very important to his confidence. All he should be perfecting over the summer is short passes to the RBs so that he can hit them in stride. It appears when teams took away Beasley Dak would struggle. Thats where having Zeke work the middle would free up Beasley because Zeke would draw a LB in coverage which is a mismatch zeke should win and then Beasley wont be doubled. This short passing game needs to be honed and get the ball in the play makers hands. If Garrett can get this short game humming then Dak can take his shots down field!

Thats what I am worried about! You know how companys pay motivational speakers to come in. Jerry should pay Belichick and Sean Payton as much they want to come in and do some training sessions with Garrett, Linehan and Marinelli!!

Yep! Me too ! Im tired of everyones careers going to waste so he can learn on the job! But since we know hes not going anywhere maybe the next best thing would be to coach him up to be a better coach. Probably wont work and its a crummy choice but its about all we got!

That’s what a puppet does. And none better than Garrett who is simply a product of Jerry’s dysfunctional football franchise.

This is what Jerry wants who pursued him naming him “ the future of the Dallas Cowboys”.

Correct. Hiring a better coach should have been a higher priority of Jerry’s but it wasn’t and still isn’t .

Were all stuck with Jerry but over the last few years he has changed some and Dallas is drafting better but Garrett isnt changing and trying to get better. I dont like the fact that Garrett is always not at fault. He over sees the coaches and should be held responsible for Linehan not running the ball inside the 3 yard line.

He's a HoF caliber tailback who could be even better in the passing game, but our personnel and schematics philosophy is so poorly thought out that we are not using him to his potential in the passing game. I think we should look at some sort of pass receiving #2 or #3 RB although I have no confidence in the staff in using one correctly.

But first we really need to get at least 1 deep threat at WR.

Jerry doesn’t want a proven HC who could recieve more credit than him.

It was Romo and Witten that maximized JGs offenses stats.

Romo had to change almost every play at the LOS. He had to become a football genius to survive.

Look at what happened when Romo got hurt. You saw A QB that actually produced under a real coach look god awful.
