Even P Manning only so far has one ring because they never got a total team around him

You know, I remember those games.

He took the field all by himself. The problem was he was blocking, throwing and catching all by himself so that lead to costly interceptions that cost the team the game.

I really think Troy could be a good GM for us.

I liked what Nolan Ryan did with the Rangers too. Thats not to say all former great players would be a GM success...but its apparent that some of them definitely can.

I am paraphrasing because I do not remember where I read it but Troy said in an interview he'd like to work in a front office one day but it would not be the Cowboys. His last name isn't Jones so he knows it'd be somewhere else if that ever happens.

The only pick I can ever remember Troy really pushing for was David Lafleur...
But I'm on the anyone but Jerry train

I think the advantage former players have, esp those who won, is they have a deep connection to the organization. Thats gotta be advantageous vs. someone who just sees it as a business.

Peyton admitted that he felt less of a football player because he never played defense or special teams or OL, etc., ... only QB.
