**** 'em.................

I've been at this Cowboy racket for 40 years. This ain't your Daddy's Cowboys. This is some impostor/replacement team.

Never, and I mean NEVER in my 40 years of "Cowboy-dem" fanhood have I been so "left at the alter" and screwed.

No. Sorry. This is classic "I can talk stink about family, but no one else can." And my family, my friend, is a fricken' joke.

I "got on board" again after a dozen years of resisting the temptation. This is what I get for "believing". I tried this **** last year, only to get screwed as well.

I can't believe a Cowboy team lacks the nuggets to not make an ******* out of me at the office water cooler.

Thanks a lot.
Never again.
I'll never "believe" again until the rings are on the fingers............

if u learn how to lose u will learn how to win. I will always be a cowboy no matter what, but once that ring is on the fingers i will appreciate it more then you will.

The only people who learn how to lose are losers. End of story.

I am feeling the same way right now, this loss feels even worse than last year's loss to Seattle. It's like twelve years of anticipation destroyed in one half of football. I don't care for the game in general right now, whereas 24 hours ago I couldn't get enough. I'm the wide eyed kid watching the clock tick to zero with Emmitt Smith on the ground thinking "Thats it? The end of the game? No more seconds on the clock?"

I feel like I have wasted an investment, years of dedication to this team that has all gone for naught. Times like this make me question why I love the game and follow it as I do. I wonder why I give two ***** about who is on the roster this year or who will be the coach of what position. It doesn't matter at all, really. This team gets your hopes up and gives you something to believe in, only to crush your morale utterly and completely - year after year. 13-3, might as well be 3-13. At least we'd get the high draft pick. And we wouldn't have been riding on an illusion the last few months. A gravy train to nowhere.

I can't even sleep tonight.

Seeing as how the late season collapse has been a Cowboy trademark for a number of years, no it is not possible for these morons to learn from mistakes. Please, this is a team that features a player that consistently breaks a rule named after him.

That is probably one of the most ridiculous statements I have heard. If someone told you that, I would walk directly up to them and smack them in the face and scream "NO!" until they changed their mind.

Here's the Walk of Shame. I took the liberty of wading into Extremeskins and found this. Joke's on me for believing there was Life After Jimmy Johnson:

1996: 10-6. Won wildcard against Minnesota but Lost in the divisional round to the Panthers who were in their second year of existance. (I should have gotten the picture right here - saved myself a decade!)
1997: 6-10.
1998: 10-6. Lost to the Arizona Cardinals in the wildcard round. First playoff win ever for the Cardinals.
1999: 8-8. Lost to the Minnesota in the wildcard round.
2000: 5-11.
2001: 5-11.
2002: 5-11.
2003: 10-6. Lost to Carolina in the wildcard round.
2004: 6-10.
2005: 9-7.
2006: 9-7. Lost to Seattle in the wildcard round.
2007-08: 13-3 Lost to NY Giants in divisional round.

Tied with Detroit and Kansas City @ 6 for longest running streaks without playoff victory.
96-96 (.500) since last Super Bowl. Mediocre. Average. Bland.

Are you for real? You sound like some washed up motivational speaker trying to talk a failed athlete off a ledge. We've done plenty of losing, I'm ready to win.

I like in Manhattan, I know plenty of Giants fans, the Cowboys have absolutely ruined the next few months for me. This is the payment you get for being a fan.

We are not those franchises. We have a team that is a perennial playoff contender, not one of the league's bottom dwellers

40 years you say? Then you should remember 1968. That one hurt even worse than this one did.

Funny how 4 of those bottom dweller teams have won a playoff game since we last have, but whatever you need to tell yourself to sleep better at night is fine with me.
